With all of the Halo 3 hype, I totally forgot about the first reason to pick up my DS in months.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass! ^_^

I was reminded of the game by IGN who just posted their review of the game. Keeping up with the Zelda quality, the game scored very high.

Presentation: 9.5 / 10
Graphics: 10 / 10
Sound: 9 / 10
Gameplay: 8.5 / 10
Lasting Appeal: 8.5 / 10

Overall: 9.0 / 10 (Outstanding)

The review made the game sound amazing. I suggest you read it. ;)

It comes down to this: Great games are made up of a series of truly captivating moments. A Link to the Past had the unveiling of the master sword, Ocarina of Time hooked gamers with the simplicity and entertainment of riding the Hyrule countryside with Epona for the very first time, and Twilight Princess astonished loyal Zelda fans as they witnessed their hero change forms in the midst of the twilight. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass has those moments too, and while it may be more casual than we'd like, it's captivating, entertaining, and a true adventure worthy of the Zelda name. It's different, but it's still the real deal.

LoZ:PH doesn't come out till next month...doesn't it?

Oh well, I never did like Zelda handheld games. Especially with touch controls.

To be, or not to be: that is the question. To die, to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause. That makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time when he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death, the undiscover'd country from whose bourn no traveller returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all...

I guarantee that you'll like more than just the LOZ if you pick up a DS.
But I can't wait for the Phantom Hourglass. I got so antsy waiting that I pulled out windwaker to hold me over.
