Rejoice, Blue Dragon fans! According to Jump magazine, Mistwalker's popular JRPG is now coming to the Nintendo DS. That's right. Now you can use the DS stylus to hack and slash at poo snakes. Details are not available as of yet, but stay tuned as more about the game is revealed.

First Viva Pinata, now Blue Dragon. Microsoft sure is losing reasons for me to get a 360.

ive played the blue dragon demo on 360, and frankly it wasnt that great.... accually i would say it was not very enjoyable at all.

You just run through poorly drawn dungeon and fight enemies while following a boring storyline.

IMO not very fun.

It's made by the RPG legends of Japan, so I wouldn't discount it so easily Para. ;)

To be, or not to be: that is the question. To die, to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause. That makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time when he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death, the undiscover'd country from whose bourn no traveller returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all...

*slap*

Reviews for Blue Dragon have been somewhat mixed, although generally favorable, with few multi-platform sites being highly critical in their reviews of the game.

While many of the reviewers praised the game for its traditional approach, a few reviewers criticized it for that very reason. The story also came under scrutiny from some reviewers for being too generic and too similar to existing Japanese RPGs, with slow pacing during the beginning of the game. Despite this, the graphics and soundtrack received high marks, and the game was pronounced relatively solid, if unremarkable.

From what I've heard, the first 20 hours or so are really boring, but everything after that is really good. :P

I'm going to assume that when they're making the DS game, they'll be considering everything the fans and reviewers have said to make the entire experience good.
