Yay, I just got this album! Anyways, I never really listened to U2 before so I got the CD and am listening to it now, it's pretty good. Kinda hit-and-miss. Anyways, any U2 fans out there? If so, what'd you think of this album compared to other U2 albums? That way I'll know whether to pursue them more or not.

To be, or not to be: that is the question. To die, to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause. That makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time when he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death, the undiscover'd country from whose bourn no traveller returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all... | |

U2? I never heard of them, but U2 sounds like something that would be on a cruel chemistry quiz on the first day just to humiliate you. (the education people like to do that)
Edit: I wonder if the atom in the title is what made think about it as chemistry. Are they like a really new group or a really old one. If so that would explain why I wouldn't know about them. |

They're a classic rock band formed in 1976... That's like saying...I don't know what that's like saying. XD But it's pretty sad you don't know them. |

Well I've definitely heard of them but I'm not too good at remember which songs are from which bands back in the day so... yep, I dunno. Guess I just posted useless crap in your thread now. Sorry, I'll sweep it up. |

OMG, I love U2! they're seriously awesome! I recommend getting either their CD All That You Can't Leave Behind or U2 18, which has their most successful singles on it. |

This is the album that made U2 my favorite group.
"All That You Can't Leave Behind" is pretty good, too. |

They're a really solid band. I like the Joshua Tree album the best but Dismantle an Atomic Bomb is really good too. Isn't it awesome that they've been around since '76 and are still coming out with good music? |

I don not know how to dismantle an atomic bomb, but I know how to make one!
:D You just need duct tape, a lavish amount of lead, 100 pounds of trinitrotulence (TNT), 25 pounds of plutonium isotope 239, and some crazy glue! Place the plutonium isotope into a lead fixture to hold it (it may help to mold the plutonium isotope into a sphere), cover that with the trinitrotulence, and use the duct tape and crazy glue for holding and outer shell. To activate the atomic bomb, you simply activate the charge (which should be in the box), and presto! (kaboom!) :D The science behind it is that when you detonate the trinitrotulence, if done correctly, the plutonium isotope 239 will reach critical mass, or the smallest mass necessary for a fissionable material to maintain a chemical reaction at a constant rate. Thus, it will make a big KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! There are other isotopes of other elements you can use, but the isotople must be very high so that you will have the most mass. Enjoy! I like smileys! :D ;D

Yeah, enjoy your lethal dose of radiation as soon as the plutonium enters your house. |
