Well on Thursday I had to run 3 miles for my PE class, but I did something stupid... I took my shoes off to rune for a bit and ended up getting a HUGE blister on my right foot, I went to the doctor today and he said it would take three or so weeks to heal >_> Now I have to miss PE class for the rest of the year. T_T

I went on a walk yesterday, and I think I got a blister, but I couldn't even see it. I'm such a wuss.

And I'd be glad to miss PE class for the rest of the year. :D But that's just me. :P

i ahd surgery on an infection i had on my lowerback on sping break. ever since then i've been cut from ANYTHING EVEN REMOTLY ACTIVE. that includes Tae Kwon Do, Soccer, Track, even riding my bike... and it could take another couple of months before i'm alowed to go active again. so it could be worse.

i've had blisters on my feet before. but never from running bare foot. maybe it's cuz i have tought indian feet.

I ran/walked on a park trail barefoot nothing happened exept the skin got all creased and just slightly torn and grew back like even tougher leather. I've only got blisters on my feet from shoes I tell my parents are too small but they make me wear them anyway. (my feet are wide no my whole skeleton was built wide and abnomally tall)

HAHAHAHAHAHA!.....sorry, see, where I live (the middle of the woods, rocky dirt roads) that lack of foot toughness is sad, I walk everywhere barefoot on weekends, even through pricker patches (although that was an accident XP) But yeah.... blisters from running a mile or so in gym barefoot is kinda....so offence, sad.

Well, i think it was actually partially from the heat of the track as well as the track ahving those stupid little rubber things for 'traction' (They make me slip when in shoes >_>) I also run kinda weird so i always landed on the same spot within a second, which might have had something to do with it... -_-' Still though, I'm kinda ticked I missed my demo day at school for chemistry.

I live in Vermont. I understand the heat bit, but tracks are pretty soft compared to the road. I'm not "good" at anything, I just have tough feet from where I've lived all my life. Well, I am good at stuff, but you can't be good at not getting sore feet, you just have to build up calluses and a natural resistance. But yeah, running in PE is....meh

Let me say now, dodge ball for me, is awesome, I am small, and thus, harder to hit. I really like soccer....and....rock climbing... and thats about it. On the discussion of this now, what sports will people on this forum actually get within five feet of?

Baseball!
(it's fun!)

american football!
(play occasionally with friends, and watch on TV more than 5 feet away)

Sucks that you have to miss PE for the rest of the year, especially when it's so nice out.

I get within five feet of running, frisbee, football, soccer, baseball/softball, biking.

I agree with Thief, I have very tough feet, you can ask any of my friends. I hate shoes! Shoes are evil!!!(and if you read what I'm afraid of, that means I'm afraid of shoes) But yeah, I have tough feet, and walk barefoot whenever possible.
