I was just saying, a typical person wouldn't say, "Oh I read nothing but the Bible" and how many ppl these days would bother reading "Mein Kampf"...It just amused me.

As far as the Bible, yeah I read it. It's kind of required reading for me. XD

AS far as Mein Kampf, two things make me want to read it.

1. "Know Thine Enemy"
2. I want to see what was in that crazed head of his...

I'm not really into reading, unless it's few and far between. Usually, I read books in spurts. Then long, dry periods.

I guess I'm just special.

To be, or not to be: that is the question. To die, to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause. That makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time when he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death, the undiscover'd country from whose bourn no traveller returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all...

heh, makes sense. I've never tried reading Mein Kampf...though I have read stuff by Friedrich Nieztsche, he's a sicko, similar to Hitler.
I read constantly...and since I'm in a crazy Western Civilization class...I have to read all these philosophers. XD'

I've read some of the Koran. Never bothered reading the whole thing though...maybe I'll do that. Have you read it mossad?

@ Mossad: Just the book of Surah. Very interesting reading.

@ GAB: Ah yes, Freddy (Yeah, that's what I call him) is a good read. Though, I can only take certain doses.

Thats Mr. Jekel right? I have to say he is tied for my all-time favorite teacher.
(him and mr. weidman)

But yeah, I havn't read all that much ancient literature but I remember reading
Sun Tzu's "the art of war" That was interesting.

I have read parts of the Koran, not the whole thing though. I did actually borrow it from the library but, I got distracted and didn't finish :P

I own Sun Tzu's Art of War. It's an ingenious piece of literature that can be applied to vritually all aspects of life. Buisness, Sports, Gaming, or military conquests.

What'd you think of it?

It was really good. Much of the things did apply to everyday life not just war. In fact much of the war things are now outdated, but still apply to other things today.

Meh, alot of it is still useful in the military tactics.

Speaking of military tactics, I was reading through Joshua's conquest of Canaan in the Bible, and if you pay attention, that guy was a military genius.
