I just finished "A Series of Unfortunate Events", and as unfortunate as it is that I finished it in a meager two days it is more unfortunate that the unfortunate series has met it's end in the final book The End. Even at the end of The End I still was slightly confused... Has anyone else finished this book? *spoilers* The boat is originally named Beatrice, which is then noted to be the name of Kit Snicket's child which was named after the Baudelaire's mother. If Beatrice is their mother, what is Lemony Snicket's relationship to her (as shown through his letters and notes at the beginning of each book)? Oh! I completely forgot about the other book The Beatrice Letters which I have yet to read... perhaps that can fill in some of the gaps... */spoilers* Anyways, it was a really good book... if you like unfortunate events, and yet I am now left bookless. Alas, the brevity of books, at least there's still Twilight Princess.

I heard that there is a pervert in it who wants to marry some little girl... After I heard that, I had no desire to read/see it. >_< |

To be, or not to be: that is the question. To die, to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause. That makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time when he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death, the undiscover'd country from whose bourn no traveller returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all... | |

Well there's a story behind that... but him being a pervert wasn't the reason he wanted to marry some little girl. <_^ |

not really. He's evil, but he's not a perv. He only wants money and power not well you know.
