What is PRB? PRB = Prolonged Rocket Boost PRB is a technique that allows the user to go off-road at mushroom speeds and makes the ýuser go faster in general. How do you use it? In order to use PRB, you need to get a perfect or near perfect starting boost. As soon as you go, you need to quickly get into a powerslide and perform a mini-turbo (MT). After the ýfirst you have to chain MTs together without a gap in the boost. In other words, you need ýto be constantly snaking in order for this to work. As soon as there is a break in speed, the ýPRB is gone. PRB in action: http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=oh74ib What is PRB used for? PRB is mainly used for Time Trials (TT), but can also be ýused in competitive play – although as soon as you get hit with an item, it is gone. Which karts/ccs are best for PRB? PRB is most effective in 150cc, and sometimes works in 100cc. The best karts to use it ýwith are Dry Bones’ and Yoshi’s speed karts. Other karts with an acceleration of 8/10 or ýhigher work as well, though it is easiest with the Dry Bomber. Obviously if you use the ýTyrant you are out of luck. The “ethics” of PRB PRB, like snaking, is a controversial topic. Unlike snaking, however, PRB is an unintended glitch. This makes it unaccepted by some, and it is illegal in some tournaments and Time Trial competitions. Others look on it as a skill that is difficult but worthwhile. Should you use it? That’s up to you. Final words In order to PRB effectively, you need to know the course layout very well and have near-perfect snaking. PRB is not easy to pull off and takes lots of practice. Good luck ( copied from main forum ) |

There's a better third person (how it looks when you play) video of it on video google.
But I don't know what the category/title is under...........so you'll have to do a bit of browsing  |

Is it really a glitch? I mean you are boosting the whole time anyway or is it that you are boosting faster? |
