NOW AVAILABLE: #1USA/Canada Media/Journalist and Agent File v.1.3 (by Aljarov) Released 11/11/12 Updated for FM13 with all the import issues fixed, and the media file significantly overhauled to reflect the past 3 years movement. Please post issues below, it was a huge amount of work as the imported file didn't work very well. As an added bonus, I've added almost 50 real life agents, and where known, added real life clients. Massive agencies like Wasserman and James Grant, it's not entirely clear who is repping which players exactly so i divvied them up best I could. If you have insights on those, please post below. Updated 11/11/12 to remove/tweak more national media, especially between US/Canada. Split Goal.com to be more consistent with territories. DOWNLOAD MEDIA/AGENT FILE - CLICK HERE #2USA/Canada Name Expansion file (FM13 compatible) (USA by crash2772 and Canada by Bertossi) Released 11/10/12 An essential file to prevent the same old tired names being over used for newgens in the game. Put in the Editor Data folder. Make sure it's selected when you start a new game. DOWNLOAD US-CAN NAME EXPANSION FILE - CLICK HERE #3 USA and Canada League Expansion Files (USA by SaintsCanada) Released 11/7/12 Not the full one we plan on doing to include NCAA, but for anyone who can't wait, this is where you want to start. DOWNLOAD US LEAGUE EXPANSION FILE - CLICK HERE DOWNLOAD CANADIAN LEAGUE EXPANSION FILE - CLICK HERE Coming Soon..... Missing Players Facepack (almost done) Logo/Competition Packs (get at SUSIE http://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/style/1/cu...t-player-faces) Kits for NASL/USL (2011 kits available here http://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/packcat/2/...12-league-kits) League Expansion Files - Out NOW! (NCAA version to follow) Media/Journalist Updated File - Out NOW! US/Canadian Name expansion pack - Out NOW! MLS League Players Guide Three of these are currently underway and I will try to get stuff out asap. The Expansion files are going to be a longer term project. Might release that in two parts....a quick one to make the main USA/Canada stuff playable, then a major one to incorporate all the way down to NCAA just as soon as possible (but likely into the new year). I'll update here as I go. Let me know if you can help on anything. **In the interim, I full recommend downloading the facepacks/logos and other graphics from SUSIE. What I will be putting up will all go in SUSIE as well, but I will be making smaller packs for those that dont want a whole megapack. |

I'm about 80% of the way through converting the old EDTs into the FM13 editor which was much more laborious than I realized it would be. It moves a lot of the journalists from their correct employer so I've been having to go back and change all that. Obviously the media landscape has changed significantly in the past 3 years. If you would like to post the local media information for your team that would be fantastic - main TV, Radio (w.sep spanish radio if applicable), newspapers, websites, blogs as well as the main people for all of these....as with a special focus on who would likely be at press conferences etc... I've got Portland, Seattle and TFC full done. Any other teams I would welcome input from you guys just to make sure no one is missed. |

If anyone here has the skills to build a self extracting file that would be able to house the MLS/USA/Canada update and put all the parts into the correct places (Graphics, XML files, etc...) then please contact me. This would be a great, trouble-free way to help people install the various pieces which I know can be a right pain in the arse. |

MEDIA/AGENT FILE As usual, stick this in your Editor Data Folder and make sure it's selected when you build a new game. Do remember and unpack it first (it's uploaded in RAR). My general observation is - the pressers might work better with less national media, mainly because it doesn't understand that a national themed blog, like DuNord for example, will not travel to Toronto for a press conference. There's a lot that fall into this, but look past those and I'll chew whether to delete them altogether and just leave the club specific media outlets and people in. After all, it's more typical to see the beat writers from MLSsoccer.com, Goal.com, various blog and the local newspapers than anything else. Feedback below, including agent stuff too....I think the agents make a nice touch see a lot of real names. There will still be fake ones, but having almost 50 real ones, and hundreds of assigned players, will reduce the number of those in and around MLS. |
