I just don't get the anger of some character. Like Sara, She has everything she wants , yet. She gets mad at Ed and blows up way to easily. And Eddy , He's barking or shouting 85% of the time, why? Double-D and his lecturing. And don't get me started on Kev.Geez, They get mad at the drop of a hat over pointless stuff. I get the Kankers having a hard life. And Rolf , being from another country. But, the others?

Hormones? Perhaps the cul-de-sac can feel a bit claustrophobic at times causing the kids to act out? Who knows, really?

There are some people in real life who seem to be angry all of the time for no easily known reason, but fortunately most people aren't like that. :)

I don't think Rolf's ever been angry except for when the Eds do something to him or someone disrespects his culture, but the rest of the teens well... aren't teenagers usually angry?

Sure, the kids do have their bursts of anger from time to time, but it's just part of their personalities. Sarah is naturally a very scornful and argumentative person, Eddy has a natural urge to yell in order to project his thoughts, Rolf gets very defensive of his strange culture, and Kevin just hates it when the Eds try to deceive him. It's all perfectly normal of them.

I wouldn't say that any of them are angry all the time, though, because even people like Sarah, we see playing and having fun by herself or with Jimmy. They only get angry when someone provokes them, or in Sarah's case, when she decides to provoke someone.

Incorrigible Eskimo pie with a caramel ribbon.
The show wouldn't be as entertaining without the conflict.

True. Part of the premise of the show is that the Eds were underdogs, after all.
