I didn't see that there was a thread dedicated to 'Ed, Edd n' Eddy' closure. Since the 'Big Picture Show' is now released in the US; I wanted to give us a place to express best wishes to Danny and the current + former staff at AKA.
_____

With the US release of Ed, Edd n' Eddy's Big Picture Show; I bid adieu to an amazing show. It's been a delightful 10 years. I'm sad to see it all end, but I'm so happy they were finally allowed to go out with a bang. Much love to Jono Howard, Scott Underwood, Sabrina, Rach, Raven, Big Jim, Danny Antonucci and everyone else who made it all happen. I wish you all the best for future projects.

Ed Edd N' Eddy was certainly the greatest show in cartoon network history. Now the Eds finally won, and Jonny finally lost his mind ( or had he already lost his mind? ) The Eds are finally accepted by the neighbor hood kids and we got to see Eddy's brother! So, they can't really continue the series because the movie ended to perfectly. I'll miss this show as I watched for a large portion of my life. Goodbye, Edboys. We'll miss you!!! :ed :edd :eddy

Even if the Eds are over, I don't care-I'm still gonna watch, draw and enjoy them. Danny and AKA made an awesome show and it deserves to live on!!

So true, so true.

Although, I kinda think the Eds ended when the movie was released in Australia. The US Cartoon Network is full of bullcrap and the American release of the movie probably censored out some of the stuff (namely the sexton joke. I could be wrong; I didn't watch the "world premiere" last night but I'd assume they'd censor out anything above a g-rating). So I think the show ended quite a while ago, but its spirit will live on in the hearts of the people who's lives it touched.
Besides, it's one of the only good shows Cartoon Network has left. I think they'll keep it on air as the longest Cartoon Cartoon series for a little longer. Even CN isn't stupid enough to get cut one of the few thin strings that's keeping it from hurtling into a pit of corrosive acid.

I really wish it wasn't over just yet...
It was truly a great movie and I enjoyed it.

However, I will continue to keep Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy preserved on my Tivo for as long as time allows, I will also keep watching the show whenever it comes on. :)

(Too bad my Tivo broke before I could set it to record the Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy movie
:( I was looking forward to preserving it forever too, as the "end of the show")

Ed, Edd n Eddy was one of the best loved shows on CN. It was the only show that was good to watch on CN (Because CN real sucks eggs). I still wanted them to continue the show, but even though that day is here, I'll still draw, watch, and buy all of the Ed, Edd n Eddy seasos on DVD. That show should deserve to live on forever.

Ed, Edd n Eddy will continue. Even though we will never get to see what's under Double D's hat, there will still continue it. It is the GREATEST show on Earth!

*Although it's over storywise, the Eds will continue to live via FusionFall, any future DVD releases or the sudden appearance of a Series 6. Thanks, AKA. Thanks, CN. Thanks for making a good show, and for inspiring me to create 'Nazzilla' and "10". You will not be forgotten....*

(Cue Phil the Valiant and Nazzilla (from "10") looking down at the last scene of the film, before walking off, with Phil narrating)

"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, and the sea's asleep, and the rivers dream. People made of smoke, and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there’s injustice, and somewhere else Jawbreakers are on sale for half price! Come on, Nazzilla— we’ve got work to do!"

(Shame there wasn't a similar monologue like this one for the utmost end of the film, or a simple drawing shown on the screen after the credits like how KND ended.)

As far as I know, the movie aired unedited. I'm watching it right now

Yup, this is exactly how it aired everywhere else, except we actually get to see the post-credits scene. =P

This Seems odd saying goodbye to a show , but here goes.

Even though the show was on for ten years, I was only a big fan for 3 years. Even since Kevin panic in the bathroom in "This won't hurt and ED" I have been captivated by him. I have refound my love of writing and cartoons. I have made many friends and connections.

I guess you all are right..... The Eds will live on in our hearts . ... Yeah, Kevin will be one of my many muses ... :P

I'll still continue the Planky love and will get my site back together at some point. A bit sad the show had to come to an end when I have so much other crud going on, but the movie was fun and and a good end to the series.
