In the UK there's a range of products made by Cauldron which has some lovely stuff - they do amazing mushroom burgers

Mmmmm mushroom burgers! I could go one of them right about now. I will keep an eye out for cauldron products too, thanks.

I've been experimenting with things like beans instead of meat. Normally I'd have tuna and salad as a typical lunch but I've recently discovered the joys of baked beans and salad. Sounds gross I know but it's really tasty!

btw...someone told me oreos are not vegetarian-friendly because they use congealed animal fat. Is this true?? I don't really love oreos anyway but apparently they use animal fat in a lot of biscuits and sweets. They even use pork gellatine in these strawberry jelly porky pig sweets that I used to love! I don't think I'll go all the way to not eating ANY animal products, just will cut out the obvious meats.

 I've never heard *that* before, although it wouldn't surprise me that it was said. Some people are just extreamists that way, and can make mountains out of mole hills.

They do have organic oreo cookies, if that's any better

Thinking about Christmas now....I really have gone off the traditional roast turkey dinner. I'm trying to think of veggie alternatives for my mum to make me. So far the only one I can think of is nut roast. I'm going to do some looking around on the net to see if I can find any yummy vegetarian christmas ideas.

I know some white chicken is nice to have. I think boiled or something, that does help a bit, suppose that's even too much meats still huh?

You like fish? Your allowed to have fish and most beans. Of course the greens, eggs

Quiche, you like quiche? That doesn't have to have meats. Lasagna, I can see that without the meat sauce.

Maybe a few other things. That web page looked neat to.

I thought this whole section was Nienna wanting to be Veggie. Guess it's Steph? lol

LOL! It's a problem I have, I just got to be the topic of conversation at all times.

Sorry for hijacking your Veggie thread, nienna.

Thanks for the suggestions, I am still eating fish yeah. Don't like quiche though, never have. :( Maybe I'll ask for salmon for christmas dinner.

Sarah found this, so sharing it here.

Have fun!

Yeah don't watch the video if your very weak at heart.

No wonder I hardly eat turkey. Or much meat at all just naturally. Not because I'm Veggie, but just because I'm not interested in the meats. Unless it's bacon.

But this just really makes me want to snatch all those turnkeys and hug them.
