I woke up to an Earthquake this morning

It happened at 5:37 AM EST in Louisville, KY. It was the fourth earthquake I have felt. My son's second.

Waking up to quakes is not much fun.

No one was hurt. Not even a dish broken. But we do expect a major quake here anytime similar to the one of 1811 that changed the course of the Ohio and created Lake Barkeley. We do have earthquake insurance on the house.

Back during my military days I was once stationed at Fort Ord, CA and have been shaken up a bit several times by quakes out there that is sort of regular. I never did get used to them. We had a small one in northeast AL about 3 or 4 years ago that made the chimes on my Grandfather clock start chiming due to the shaking though. :(

Yep, old Fort Ord, the most scenic fort in the Army until it was closed.
You probably remember this hang out across from the main gate next to the beach.
