Ok ya'll have probably seen this story from Detroit in the news. I've been watching it to see if they actually name the two parties ... thus far the media has only mentioned one ... the dead dude. Story Link Unless perps are under-age the media usually doesn't have a problem naming Josand Smith, or Michellica Jones, even Jose Garcia Zapata Manuel Rodrieguez Abuella Brown. The dead guy in this instance is a push-pull indian. What about the shooter? Could he be muslim and the press is worried that naming achmed would present the wrong image of their brother??? Detroit? From what I understand its the largest muslim enclave in the country. Pitiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to this story the reason his name hasn't been released is that he has yet to be charged with the crime... http://www.wtopnews.com/?nid=104&sid=1294246 And Dearborn is the largest Muslim enclave in the US, not Detroit. |
