Stupid Me.. Need a littlo Help!

Top of the Rung Posts: 293 Group: Member Member #57 Joined: November 19, 2006	Hello All Peoples.. I belong to 3 or 4 other forums, but all forums work the same way I think. I have never used the "Quote" feature, and really don't know how its done. Some forums have a Quote button in the upper tool bar. Now I think I know how that works. you just click it and it will quote the whole text of the post and put it in a seperate box showing that its a Quote from the other thread. But my question is, how does one only select a single sentence from a paragraph have it be a Quote. Some forums have the Quote button at the top as here, but some others don't. I have tried highlighting a sentence or two, then hitting the Quote button, but it Quotes the whole message and not just the selected sentence, etc. Pse give poor litto Me some guidence !!! I will love Ya forever! SwanJ

Highlight whatever you want to quote and do a copy (ctrl C). Go to the message window where you are writing your post and input - (quote) position your curser after the command and do a paste (ctrl V) then input - (/quote) proceed with composing your post and you've done it!!!

Nowscroll down to the 2nd box below where the quote shows up and cut out any that you don't want in the quoted part. That's how I did this reply only leaving one sentence.
