Photographs show backpacks and clothing discarded at an Arizona rest area by illegal immigrants. Check it at snopes, I already have and it's true along with the photos. http://www.snopes.com:80/photos/politics/restarea.asp |

It does make me very mad. We need a lot more Border Patrol Agents, and we need to take the cuffs off their hands so they can detain and deport these invaders without having to notify the Mexican Consulate, and so they can shoot when necessary without being thrown in prison for it! My friend Irene lives in Arizona and she told me the illegals are getting ready to leave that state because in January the laws are going to get really strict on employers who hire them. The illegals know they won't be able to get the jobs and so they are leaving to go to other states or back home to Mexico. They are leaving on their own without us having to round them up and deport them because Arizona is rolling up the welcome mat and throwing it out! Other states need to follow Arizona's example!

Linda, what you have posted is true they had a interview with the Sheriff from Mariceno(spelling?)county in Arizona and he is using the sides of the Sheriff trucks to advertise a hot line to report Illegals and he enforces the new laws Arizona has passed We need more like him and more states with laws like Arizona has passed/Our government is worthless when it comes top doing anything.Just look at the bill that our fine Representative from I Illinois is sponsoring for amnesty.Good old Dick Durbin. The sad part is people in this state will forget at election as I Illinois is a Democrat state. |

Just a quick note that is distantly related to the thread ... as you may know I am currently working on the border in South TX. The town I am in is 90% hispanic. I have met many good people during my stays in this small town. At breakfast this past weekend I was talking with our beautiful mexican waitress. She is obviously proud of her town and her heritage and we have shared many conversations about both ... btw, she is now an american citizen and has raised her family in this town for the past 35-40 years. She was telling me that the biggest problem in this town was those from the other side of the river coming into town. She says they cause most of the crime, are rude, and basically trouble-makers. My point? Even hispanics do not like the illegals. I needed these trips because I felt myself judging ALL hispanics merely because of the illegals. This is a breath of fresh air ... or maybe that is the good mexican food being prepared for my next meal!!! |

That's what my friend Cottonpicker tells me too. Even the Mexican Americans will tell you that the ones coming across are mostly the low lifes. I don't have a problem with Mexican Americans or Mexicans in general. It's the ones with the bad attitudes that won't obey our laws, who want everything for nothing, and in their language that I have a problem with. I love Mexican food. Have you ever had chile rellenos (pronounced ray`enose)? They're long green chiles stuffed with cheese, dipped in batter and fried...yuuuuuum!

Linda, I haven't had any of those peppers yet BUT this morning our waitress brought us some small pepper seeds to try. These are bright red and look like and are about the size of BBs. Omigosh, how something that small can be that hot is amazing. I crushed mine up and added to my food which lessened the effect, but my partner grabbed a couple and chewed them right out of the jar. He is still sweating Everyone in the restaurant was watching us as we ate these so we played along and everyone had a great laugh but we weren't playing when the heat hit us!!! |

The smaller the pepper the hotter they are. I bet they get a kick out of watching the gringo's faces turn red and their eyes bulge out. I love hot food but I get the hiccup's at first bite! |
