I sat in front of the TV and willed people to run faster, to get out ....and in a very short time, willed them to 'hold on' til people could find them when the buildings collapsed. I have a photo of my kids on Liberty Island taken in 2000, with the Trade Centers in the background. I've been back a few times to the City, but only once to the site of the Trade Centers. It's a hole in the ground, an empty grave - a place of great sadness and anger all rolled into something you can't describe.

It makes me ill when I hear people talk of Islam as a peaceful religion, it nauseates me when these cowards (like the Democrats and Ron Paul) talk about surrender to these dirtbag terrorist that brought about the worst tragedy on American soil in history. I have a copy of the local Newspaper from that day and I take it out once and a while and look at it just to make sure that I NEVER FORGET.

Ruler of the Hill Posts: 781 Group: Member Member #56 Joined: November 19, 2006	I was in New York a few years ago and visited ground zero. I cried. A woman who works in my building was there over Labor Day weekend. She said she really didn't expect for it to have such an effect on her, she cried. I will never forget and neither will she.
