I just watched this story on Fox News and it rips your heart out. http://www.kelseyspurpose.org/ This little angel, a biological daughter of an American Hero that was serving in Iraq, was MURDERED by her step-father while her biological mother watched and let her abuse continue, eventually leading to her death. The father, again - while serving in the War on Terror, was interviewed and quite upset over the loss of his daughter. The abuse case was brought before a judge months before her murder, and the judge was manipulated by the "facts" that were not told to him by social services. The judge was also interviewed. I will reserve my comments about the judge at this point. BUT, as far as the step-father goes.........I also will reserve my comments as they are not fit to print and go beyond a rotten-lowest piece of slime-worse than what ya flush down the toilet-scumbag. I REALLY feel for this American Soldier whom entrusted his former wife to take care of his daughter while away, and she completely let him down and let the little child down in letter her death take place........and as of now, she still is walking on the street. May this little angel be with our Father in Heaven above. YOU CAN EXPECT BILL O. TO BE ALL OVER THIS STORY - GO GET 'EM BILL!!!!!!! Give them secular-progressives that let this crap continue have it...... |

I can't take reading things like this! What's wrong with people?! Her mother watched as she was abused and murdered! And the poor girls father was in Iraq risking his life for her and all of us. There was no one who would protect his little girl? How is that father ever going to live knowing he wasn't there when she needed him. Not by any fault of his own, but you know that has to go through his mind. He needs our prayers. The mother and the step-father need to get their just punishment swiftly! |

Kelsey is in Heaven now, and sees more than she saw through her earthly eyes. I'm so sorry her life was cut so short. There is no excuse. |

Yep, you could definately see the pain in the father as he spoke. He had a very difficult time holding composure during the interviews. Expect to see him on Bill O. this week to tell her story again. I pray that he may find a way to make it thru this.... |

If I preformed my job at the level these Social Workers did I'd a been fired a long time ago. I just don't get what's wrong with them. My Great, Great nephew, yes Great Great, was being abused by his mother's boyfriend in Wichita and we had to call the sheriff's office in another county 200 miles away, where we were located, to finally get the name of someone who would do something down in Wichita! It had been reported in Wichita but they didn't seem to see a problem. The poor child was being burned with cigarettes by his Mother's boyfriend! Ended up the Mother was being abused too and they got them both away from the guy, but I'm not real sure that's the truth. She had her parents, her grandparents and all of my family down there that would have helped if she needed to get away. She also has a history of drug abuse and I think she left to get out of being charged with a crime. They never did charge the boyfriend with anything!! We offered to take him with us right there on the spot but they said no cause my Great Nephew didn't have custodial custody. I haven't seen him in a couple of years now, buy I see my sister, his Great Grandma, and she says he's safe. It makes me sick. They will harass a parent who spanks their child, but when the abuse is perfectly clear they don't do a damned thing <_<

The courts always favor the mother. if the Dad had been rich enough to get the lawyers to get custody, he still would probably have been denied. We really need to hold judges responsible! Why do they get a free pass when the rest of us have to pay for stupid? |

Going through similar circumstances here. My son has 50% custody, but the mother has custodial care. When my little granddaughter wakes up from her nap screaming, "Let me go! I'll be good! Let me go!", it just tears out our hearts. There's nothing we can do, but watch the changes in her. Social Services, law officials, lawyers..........no one can do anything. We just sit and wait. And cry. And seethe inside. And feel helpless. Please pray for our little girl and for every child who is going through the terror of a parent who cares more about themselves than they do their children. |

CW, Thanks for the post. It is so very sad and maddening to know that cases like this are so many in our country. Kids malnurished(sp?), starved to death, beaten mercilessly, put in cages, closets, etc., burned, and on and on and on. Duke T Granny, I'm so sorry to hear what is going on with your little granddaughter. One thing I know to do is document everything in detail, sadly, just ya'll saying things will not carry the weight documented evidence will. Ya'll have my compassion, understanding, and knowing ya'll feel helpless, I know ya'll will not give in to that, just keep documenting including pictures of any bruising., etc., you can even use a video camera and ask her about those things as they come up, just be careful it does not appear that ya'll are coaching her testimonies about things. Direct proof is hard for "Social Services, law officials, lawyers" or judges to overlook, but as you already know it takes a lot to take a child away from a parent or to demand they only have supervised visitation. It most certainly does happen though. Note: I only speak from personal thoughts and what I think I know, and certainly not from any professional knowledge I have. I acknowledge also that ya'll probably already know everything I wrote, I didn't mean to imply ya'll haven't done your homework concerning her and her welfare/safety. I pray to God that He helps ya'll and sees to it she gets the help she needs, Duke |
