Sunday there was a special on PBS about Government Auditors who specifically Audit Oil Companies. The big Rigs out in the Ocean are supposed to pay the US Taxpayers (Since we own the Ocean) Royalties off of what they sell there oil for.

Every year they would pay out about millions to billions of dollars in royalties, well when Bush came in office he let go most of the Auditors from physically chacking the books and had some do it via computer.

Needless to say the oil companies haven't been forced to pay the royalties they should be.
