Ford gives another $10,000 to support homosexual marriage!

Unyielding support for same-sex marriage grows with multiple hand-outs

The Ford Motor Company has again financially expressed its support for homosexual activism by donating another $10,000 to help efforts to legalize same-sex marriage. Ford has signed on as a major sponsor of the 2007 PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) National Convention.

According to PFLAG’s own website, “PFLAG…supports revision of federal and state statutes to extend to persons in same-gender committed relationships the right to marry with the full legal rights and benefits.”

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Ford continues to ignore the plea of hundreds of thousands of Ford customers to stop supporting homosexual activist groups:

* Ford carried a full page ad in the nation’s top homosexual magazines, The Advocate (April 24 issue) and Out (May 2007 issue).
* Ford supports homosexuality not only in the U.S., but worldwide. Ford is listed as a main sponsor of the 2007 London Gay Pride Parade and Festival in England.
* Ford’s Board of Directors, under Chairman Bill Ford, is unanimously urging shareholders to vote against a proposal to remove sexual orientation from its corporate policies. The vote will be held during its annual meeting on May 10.

Although Ford has suffered massive losses in seven consecutive business quarters, it persists in alienating its core customers with bad business decisions.

I'm sorry, but this makes as much sense as me boycotting Cadillac if I didn't like black people. They advertise in black magazines, sponsor events like rap concerts, etc.

American maufacturing is already in the toilet. Let's not flush it!

<The 2006 IMAGES IN ADVERTISING AWARDS, held at Time Warner headquarters in Columbus Circle and hosted by AOL, honored eight
other companies, including T-Mobile, ESPN, Avis, Wells Fargo, Toyota
Canada, as well as two organizations, PFLAG and United Church of Christ, for raising gay and lesbian visibility in mainstream media. >

Don't forget Toyota, T-Mobile, ESPN, Avis and Wells Fargo!!!

I don't have any reasons to not like black people and don't know why you threw that in unless you were trying to change the subject for the sake of not knowing what else to say.

I do have a big problem with Ford Motor Company though as they are upping their promotion of gay and lesbian rights. I have bought Ford vehicles for the last 50 years for my own use. It's my choice that I will never buy another Ford vehicle although I would love to have one of their new F250 trucks, but that's no longer an option for me. It's my money and I can spend it on other vehicles that does not try to make political statements that I cannot agree with. Ford can continue on down the road with their political viewpoint, but it's costing them big time and that's their choice, not mine. If they want to sell more vehicles, I would suggest that they get out of the political business and back to the selling business.

My comment would be this: some companies may give to the gay and lesbian cause, but they don't use it as a political statement the way Ford Motor Company does. Ford Motor Company has went out of their way to push the issue farther than any other company. Maybe you work for them I don't know, but if you do, don't expect any money from me to support their political stance. I feel for the Ford employees, but when a company goes out of the way to go against the grain, it's the companies fault, not mine or the people that buys their product. They created the problem not the buyers of their product.

Court Upholds GM's Gay Diversity Program
by Charles Wilson, Associated Press

Posted: December 30, 2005 - 1:00 pm ET

<(Indianapolis, Indiana) A General Motors program that allows gays and lesbians, Hispanics or blacks - but not Christians and other religious groups - to organize in employee groups is not committing religious discrimination, a federal court has ruled.

GM's Affinity Group diversity program does not discriminate against Christians because it treats all religions equally, the 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Chicago ruled.

The court upheld a decision by a federal judge in Indianapolis, where the original lawsuit was filed by John Moranski, a born-again Christian who works at GM's Allison Transmission plant in Indianapolis.>

This I found on a website for sissies....

<Wendell and Cass already had curled up together for the night, and they weren't coming out of their cozy burrow anytime soon, according to penguin keeper Stephanie Mitchell. Living monogamously in a high-rise nest above the rest of the crew, the guys tend to ignore the sexual high jinks going on down below.

Same-sex relationships in the animal kingdom are more common than most people think. In fact, in his 1999 book, "Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity," biologist Bruce Bagemihl catalogs the unconventional sexual behaviors -- including bisexuality and transvestite tendencies -- of almost 200 different animals.>

Remember the gay penguins?

All kinds of birds in that list above!

Still don't know what that has to do with sissies buying cars, or the intentional destruction of our nation's manufacturing base over a group of people.

Are you gay? Why are you posting links to gay sites on here?

My personal opinion of gays are; they are sick in the head. I have no use for them at all. I was once given a ride by one of those sick whackos and after I found out what he was I asked to be let out of his car, he refused to let me out. He came within a nano-second of having his liver carved out by my 4 inch blade hunting knife when I stuck it to his rib cage. Only then did he stop and let me out of the car. Then he started driving around the block while I stood in the middle of the street with the knife in my hand. A policeman came by and stopped and asked why I was standing in the middle of the street at night with a knife in my hand. I told him why and he told me to get in and he would get me to a place where I could finish my trip. From that time on, I have never liked or wanted one of those sick whackos near me. If one shows up on this forum I will boot them off faster than a super sonic plane can get from an inch away.

Actually I am a married female, 100% heterosexual.
So you being almost sexually accosted by a weirdo makes you want to harm U.S. business?

A strange pervy man tried to force me into a car when I was 15. I don't hate men because of it!

And National Geographic, Salon, and Wikipedia aren't gay sites.

The U.S. company you're talking about is harming their own self. It's their policy decision that's harming their profits, not me or not people that won't buy their product. I could care less if they fold up and bankrupt as that's their choice as to how they choose to run their company. If I don't like the way they run it, I can choose to avoid spending my money keeping them in business along with thousands of others that has made the same decision as myself. Ford Motor Company is well aware of knowing how to fix the problem, but they choose not too, so it's their problem. They should make better decisions before getting into politics of sexual orientation. They could still sell their products and stay out of the political correctness business.

Remember to strike Chrysler from your list!

"People of Diversity (POD) is one of five employee resource groups recognized by DaimlerChrysler. POD was founded and organized by Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) employees of the former Chrysler Corporation in 1996 and was officially recognized by the company in June of 1997. POD formed for a number of reasons:
Support group for LGBT employees
Provide social activities
Bring awareness and understanding about LGBT workplace issues to employees and management
Change corporate policies
Work toward full domestic partner benefits "

Let's see, Ford, GM, Toyota, Chrysler.....

I'm with you Almtnman. If companies want to make political statements, they have to endure the aftermath of that. I will not knowingly support a company that campaigns for something I am strongly against. They have the choice to politicize....and I have the choice to boycott - plain and simple, if you ask me.

GAY friendly companies, click here

Human Rights Campaign has a scoring it provides to companies with the most gay friendly corporate policies.

If you are serious about a Ford boycott, you will take a gander at these names on the scoring index, as Ford didn't even have a perfect "score" as some did!! EACH OF THE LISTED COMPANIES HAS A STATEMENT ON HOW PROUD THEY ARE OF THEIR "SCORE".

Short list:
Chevron Corporation
American Airlines
AT&T
Best Buy Co
Coors Brewing Company
Dell Inc
General Mills
GlaxoSmithKline
Hewlett Packard
Johnson & Johnson
Microsoft Corporation
Miller Brewing Company
Motorola
PepsiCo
Pfizer, Inc
Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.

FORD DIDN'T EVEN SCORE HIGH ENOUGH TO GET ON THIS LIST. Check it out. Loads more companies to boycott!!

Isn't it funny that, after supporting everything that is against any teachings of Jesus, they always respond with "WWJD"?

Guess what...WE KNOW WHAT JESUS WOULD DO!!!!! And it ain't supporting the gay agenda! The Bible speaks strongly against the abomination of homosexuality. 2 cities were wiped out of existance because of the sexual perversion that existed in them.

Excuse me, but I was responding to a post that was talking about the violent death of gays. Would Jesus do that?

James 4:12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Sorry, dude, but I'm not judging here but just stating that the Bible speaks against homosexuality. Two wrongs do not make a right. They are both still wrong, and committing a wrong action in a situation that is condemned in the Bible would be just as wrong. The Bible doesn't have a measuring stick on sin that says this one is not as bad as that one. Sin is sin and wrong is wrong. I thought you were speaking to the whole subject, not just one particular post. And I was addressing the whole subject in my response.

Neither are we supposed to sugar-coat the sin, or make it appear that it is OK to live that way. I don't see why Jesus should have had to repeat what had already been said. He said he came to fullfill the law, not do away with it.

When did the meaning of the word "gay" get highjacked from being an adjective to a noun meaning homosexual instead of:
1. Bright and pleasant; promoting a feeling of cheer
2. Full of or showing high-spirited merriment
3. Brightly colored and showy

Isn't Ford's motto. "Built Ford Tough"? Aren't they catering to the wrong market by donating money to a homosexual cause? I am straight, and certainly wouldn't harm anyone who is gay, but I don't understand the need to have a separate group of people proclaiming their sexuality. That is a personal choice, and I think it should be kept private, not having parades, bars, cruises, or whatever. We don't need to know about it. If I like to swing from a chandelier, should I make my own group for that too? It is crazy! :hammerhead:

I have never used the word "gay" to describe a homosexual. The homosexual community stole a perfectly good verb and turned it into a perversion as bad as their lifestyle.

OBTW, Why is it only male homosexuals (not MEN) that are considered "gay"???

While I don't condon the deliberate harm to homosexuals I really don't care WWJD.

A Modern Parable.

A Japanese company ( Toyota ) and an American company (General Motors) decided to have a canoe race on the Missouri River . Both teams practiced long and hard to reach their peak performance before the race.

On the big day, the Japanese won by a mile.

The Americans, very discouraged and depressed, decided to investigate the reason for the crushing defeat. A management team made up of senior management was formed to investigate and recommend appropriate action.

Their conclusion was the Japanese had 8 people rowing and 1 person steering, while the American team had 8 people steering and 1 person rowing.

Feeling a deeper study was in order, American management hired a consulting company and paid them a large amount of money for a second opinion.

They advised, of course, that too many people were steering the boat, while not enough people were rowing.

Not sure of how to utilize that information, but wanting to prevent another loss to the Japanese, the rowing team's management structure was totally reorganized to 4 steering supervisors, 3 area steering superintendents and 1 assistant superintendent steering manager.

They also implemented a new performance system that would give the 1 person rowing the boat greater incentive to work harder. It was called the 'Rowing Team Quality First Program,' with meetings, dinners and free pens for the rower. There was discussion of getting new paddles, canoes and other equipment, extra vacation days for practices and bonuses.

The next year the Japanese won by two miles.

Humiliated, the American management laid off the rower for poor performance, halted development of a new canoe, sold the paddles, and canceled all capital investments for new equipment. The money saved was distributed to the Senior Executives as bonuses and the next year's racing team was out-sourced to India .

Sadly, The End.

Here's something else to think about: Ford has spent the last thirty years moving all its factories out of the US , claiming they can't make money paying American wages.

TOYOTA has spent the last thirty years building more than a dozen plants inside the US. The last quarter's results:

TOYOTA makes 4 billion in profits while Ford racked up 9 billion in losses.

Ford folks are still scratching their heads.

I haven't checked this for facts, but thought it was interesting.

Reminds me of an IBM time. In the late 1970's IBM introduced a system labeled the 3770 system. It was an OK system, but like most IBM products was engineered in the labs, tested in the manufacturing process, and started into production without all of the questions having been asked. The orders started pouring in. Back then IBM had an 18 month delivery period. The first systems started hitting the processing centers in Alabama and the systems immediately started failing. We let out a whoop to White Plains. They studied the problems carefully and devised a solution. The solution? They opened up another 1-800 service line so the clients wouldn't have to be on hold so long! That sure didn't help us much!

I know exactly what you are writing!!! Years ago, IBM bought a company I was working for (and eventually retired from). All our employees were thrilled with the prospect of working for Big Blue, until we began working for Big Blue. Their solution to anything was to have a meeting. During this time, I took a project at Langley AFB in Virginia which is also home to NASA. After six months, one of the construction supt's pulled me aside and said that I was the ONLY one that had any professionalism in our group. He said the entire project was laughing at the IBM presence on the project because all they could do was have meetings. I left the project a month or so prior to completion following a scrap with my supervisor so I do know the project was completed, not sure if it worked though

It was a happy day for us when Siemens merged with IBM (as far as our company was concerned) and eventually bought us 100%. Ironically, when I retired I had the choice of three pension plans, the original company, IBM, and Siemens. Wouldn't you know it, the worst of the lot, IBM, had the best retirement plan. Sorta like the government, under the old pension plan huh?
