Big blow out around the Hawk house. The wife has a black belt in redesigning the living room. I have a broke back from moving furniture. My daughters played violin. My son played the sax. The wife decided these would make neat accent pieces for the living room if placed atop the television set. I balked. The argument went on for hours. What do you think? I say there is already too much sax and violins on TV. |

I am with you Hawk. When she is not looking take the instruments and hide them. ![]() Go and get something of your's such as a fishing pole, hunting rifle , or whatever you have that you like and tell her you like it and put it in the living room for everyone to see. Better yet put what you like on the television to add to her collection. Aren't I darling.

I have found that arguing with my wife is a waste of time and effort. She always wins in the long run. She keeps at it until I give up just to have some peace and quite. OBTW, you are wrong, there isn't enough sax and violins on TV.

Your wife and mine go to the same HS? Anything that has to be dusted is decoration and mine just can't stand a plain, uncluttered surface. That and she hates to dust because she has to move too much stuff! |

Sorry Hawk I can't be much help. My oldest daughter plays the violin, my youngest daughter plays the drums and I play the guitar some. My wife sits in the corner with her fingers in her ears with daggers flying from her eyes towards me while the dog barks. Ever try to teach Dueling Banjos on guitar to someone playing the drums while the violin section is playing the Wildwood Weed?
