I went back and took another peek at their island and wonder if they had a sewage problem there. I've never seen so many huts crowded up so close to each other before. there was hardly any place left to walk.

A lot of the islands on the town side are overcrowded and don't have adequate facilities. I didn't notice which one it was and it was small enough that it probably doesn't get a lot of tourist. I didn't notice an airfield either which may mean that everything comes by boat. I went to Ambergris Key way before it got popular and it was at its best before the casinos and hotels. I'm thinking this little island may be the place to go for that week away. When I first starting going to Ambergris key, I had to radio a pilot to mee4t me in a sugar cane field just outside of Cosumel, MX to fly me out to the island. Had to take a taxi from town to the cane field. That was the best way to travel. I could spend a weekend on the Key and pay for the airplane ride (Govt voucher = taxi) and still be under per diem for the weekend.

Yep, it is a really tiny spot in the ocean off the eastern coast of Panama. Nothing but boat or sea plane traffic. it is 230 degrees off Panama City so it is pretty much NNE.

Or a little liberal leadership. Wouldn't Hil just love to live on a tropical paradise of an island? She could be the President. She would be wealthy enough to have maids so Bill wouldn't even have to leave the shack for sporting events.

More like a Lowes or Home Depot. Some fire retardent products would also be helpful. :P
