Yep, thanks for sending me the link to this nice forum, Beernut!
Chad's not a MP. He's currently stationed in Fort Drum with the 10th Mountain Div.
He's coming back home in 20 days after 3 years in the Army and plans to enroll in the Police Academy. I'm proud of him.

Name; Chad - got that from Dad. Good choice. Can you imagine anyone naming their son "Rainbow"? What a horrible thing to do to a boy - he must have gotten razzed to a warp.

Fightin Spirit; got that from Dad.

Good Looks; MOM

I hope that fine young man drops by some time so we can thank him proper.

RT - WE SHOULD BE PROUD OF ALL OF OUR SOLDIERS!

Ours are home now. Some are out of the service, and some are still serving a commitment, and some are on IRR.

Right now we have one of our brothers from The Mountain in harm's way. We hope that he will be back soon.

The president's decisions about the next course of action will be brought forward this week.

I hope that he is forthright and open about what our soldiers' mission will be, and FULLY explain to everyone what must be done to achieve a VICTORY in Iraq.

I have seen and posted in our Politics and Hot Topics thread, what quite possibly is the plan. And encourage all to read it to understand what must be done. I understand and believe that the plan will work. Iraq, specifically the largest city - Baghdad, needs to achieve stability, then security, then growth in economics to get people off the streets and working. It's what makes this country work, and others work without this violence - that four letter word some of us dread, but puts food on the table, a car in the garage, provides and education and keeps people focused on their dreams.

Iraq could be a tremendously prosperous country!

Without a doubt, the president's plan for Iraq will probably determine whether our brother will continue his mission there, and whether others that are currently home will be deployed.

GOD BLESS ALL THAT ARE THERE NOW, AND ALL THAT MAY BE ASKED TO GO!

MAY HE PLACE HIS PROTECTIVE HAND OVER ALL OF OUR SOLDIERS!

KEEP SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS....KEEP PRAYING FOR THEM!

Beernut ,
Did you show your daughter the letter I wrote to all Veterans? Please tell her thank you for her service and for my freedom . GWEH took my letter to Iraq so his Marines could see it. I wrote it for every brance of the Military. If anyone hasn't seen my letter and wants a copy to share with a Veteran please let me know. I hope one day to be able to go on National television and thank every Veteran. The local media would not let me because they said if I did it everyone would want to do it. That is the way it should be. I feel they should have a day for those that want to thank our Veterans to have that priviledge. I think it is very positive and our Veterans need to hear how much they are appreciated. Those serving and those that have served. I always thank Veterans for my freedom and all they have done for our country and I will continue.

Let me know if you got it. I just sent it. :)

Let me know if your daughter wants a knitted hat. I will send it. You know I have been doing hats for Veterans to show how grateful I am and I would be honored. I feel really bad because I have been meaning to ask you if your daughter would like one .

I reduced the pictures above and put them into links so this thread shrinks up a little.

And some more new pictures:

A couple of pictures you won't find in Mikey Moron's movie. What was in many Iraqi schoolyards.
