(commercial)

The train comes roaring round the bend chugchugchugchug

straight for the really nice guy on the tracks who doesn't see it bearing down!

closer closer closer closer eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

just in time the nice guy steps off the tracks of DEATH

and leaves a sweet little girl in his place AAAAAiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeee

"IT ISNT TOO LATE"

"STOP GLOBAL WARMING"

I keep my volume off and turn it on if anything important shows, so I didn't hear the exciting narrative of this commercial a little while ago.
However I did see at the bottom "Robertson Foundation" along with one of the Green Foundations.
I googled this name.
The Robertson Foundation is based on the A&P grocery fortune.
It appears to have been hijacked by the Left, and has a far left political rating. (on a scale of 1 to 8 it ranks "0" - I kid you not).

For those of you not up on the subject (probably because you have a LIFE) Global Worming is a Ponzi Scheme by the Left - its goal is to get us all to ride donkeys so that MegaPolluterPig China can go on chugging out its crap products - by which it gets cash to build up its armed forces, and donate money to the likes of Bill Clinton's political campaigns et al so they can sell us out.

You may have heard the terrible news - a piece of ice the size of MANHATTAN broke off a Canadian ice shelf! Horror we're all gonna die!!!!!
And all of those wonderful homes of those California liberals living on 90210 Beach are gonna be endangered by RISING OCEAN!!!!!!!
Shriek!!!!!

Time to shut these people down - buy A&P yall.

Good question. When we were in Japan we had to be careful cause if it said made in China it was written in kanji, which I certainly couldn't read so I'd have to have my daughter or her teacher check it out before I bought it. Visit Japan and take home things made in China!!!

No doubt about it the Chinese tick is on the Crawl, lookin for warm bodies.

My take on this loopy commercial is that Christians are supposed to see "Robertson" at the bottom and think Pat Robertson supports Global Worming!

These people are truly lamebrains and it shows in their efforts.

I been a thinkin ya know, instead of hangin round the ole homestead achewin on a grass stem, maybe I should get me that cityslicker ad agency I always wanted.

Then I could make Goober Whammy commercials like

Evil giant polluter ape Kong pulls wife out through window-
really nice guy gets up from barcalounger just in time-
Evil giant Kong eyes infant in crib....
STOP GLOBAL WARMING
BEFORE YOUR CHILDREN DIE HORRIBLE TERRIBLE DEATHS YOU BAD PARENT YOU

then I could move to Mally Boo and hang with them good old folks like Chris Rock - oops no thats the Hamp Dones....

yeah.......

Caught this on the news today:

Quote:

WASHINGTON —  Democratic presidential contender John Edwards says it is more important to invest in universal health care and lifting people out of poverty than to reduce the budget deficit.

The 2004 vice presidential nominee said in an interview broadcast Sunday said "there is a tension" between the two directions, but he has made his choice.

"If I were choosing now between which is more important, I think the investments are more important," he said on ABC's "This Week."

Edwards' proposal, which includes tax cuts and a million housing vouchers for the poor, may place him at odds with Democrats in charge of the congressional spending committees.
......
Edwards said Americans must make sacrifices in energy use, including changing their personal vehicles.

"There has to be a willingness to give up some of the vehicles they drive, and I myself have driven," he said.

Edwards said he is not advocating a gasoline tax increase at this time but added, "You can't take it off the table."

:hammerhead:
HANG ONTO YOUR POCKETBOOKS, FOLKS!

And some more:

Quote:

WASHINGTON —  Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards says he opposes a U.S. troop increase in Iraq, as advocated forcefully by GOP Sen. John McCain and being considered by President Bush, and refers to the proposal as the "McCain doctrine."

Edwards, the 2004 vice presidential nominee, announced a repeat bid for the White House on Thursday. In an interview broadcast Sunday, he sounded like he was campaigning for the nomination and specifically against McCain, also a presidential contender, at the same time.

The Arizona Republican, Edwards said, was "dead wrong" in his support of a troop increase.
.....
Edwards said his foreign policy would include a major effort to fight violence and poverty in the Third World.

He said the United States could enforce a no-fly zone against the Sudanese government, to help starving refugees in the Darfur region. Edwards said he would be "much tougher in imposing sanctions on the Sudanese government."

"The genocide, global poverty, the spread of HIV/AIDS, the atrocities that are occurring in northern Uganda, there are a whole range of places that America would have basically universal support if we showed some leadership," he said.

"And the last thing I'll say about this, a lot of people would think, 'Well, this is a feel-good thing. He wants the world to feel good about America.'

"It's much more than that. Without America as the central stabilizing force in the world, there is no stability. There's chaos. There's no one else that can do this. We have to do it," Edwards said

And this:

Quote:

In his announcements, Edwards also touted global warming and alternative energy proposals he’s offered, and suggested taxing “the excessive profits of the oil companies” as one method of paying for them.

Yep, think gas is expensive now? HANG ONTO YOUR POCKETBOOKS!
:hammerhead: smiley-libs-suck-flag

And this was in the email:
Quote:

John Edwards Building Anything-But-Humble Home

John Edwards tried to cozy up to America's poor by announcing his presidential candidacy Thursday in the Lower Ninth Ward of Hurricane Katrina-ravaged New Orleans.

It's doubtful that any on hand live in splendor comparable to the $3.1 million mansion the former senator and vice presidential candidate is building in North Carolina.
Edwards, worth upwards of $30 million thanks to a career as a personal injury lawyer, is building the home on a 100-acre estate outside Chapel Hill, the New York Post reported.

The 10,700-square-foot mansion boasts 10 rooms, 6 1/2 baths, two garages, and verandas with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside.

Edwards is also building two smaller homes on the estate — a two-story, 6,366-square-foot mini-mansion with a $570,000 price tag, and a 2,817-square-foot, $193,000 house.

One home is for Edwards' 22-year-old daughter Cate and the other is for visiting friends and family, according to the Post.

On top of all that, the White House hopeful is constructing a 1,180-square-foot pool house.

In the 2004 campaign, Edwards often spoke of "Two Americas," one wealthy and privileged and the other struggling to survive.

There's no doubt which America Edwards belongs to.<_<

I can't believe it.
Today on my beloved talk radio - this riles me - was this same bunch from the "Robertson Foundation" Global Warming crowd.

Another lurid "You're All Gonna DIE!" commercial - this one a talky. On Talk Radio! Nothing shocking really - more than once I've heard Leftwing garbage babble commercials on Talk Radio.

They think they are soooooo persuasive that if I just hear the "truth" I'll convert to Gay Marriage.

These are the guys I used to pop with a wet rattail in the boy's locker room - the lamebrains nobody took seriously - back for some payback on me and mine for the hard time we gave them as kids.
The guys who never got a date - no wonder so many of them grew up in a "closet". Maybe it was some kind of subconscious thing - like I sensed some strangiousity in the way they looked at my handsome young athletic bod - that got me to rolling up wet towels into rattails.
Ka-POW! Yikes! Raucous laughter - man I was soooooo insensitive.

They still need a rattailin' - I truly believe these meatballs think that the Christian Right are so gullible and stupid that they'll hear "Robertson" and become Global Warming fanatics.
A Disinformation Campaign.

Think I better do another Goober Worming Post.

I just saw the Pat Robertson Iasaih 28 program pleading for folks to send $50.00 per month to help elderly Jews in the former Soviet Union because the governments there were letting them starve because they don't like Jews.

Most of the video that they used was done within a couple of blocks of where we lived in Kiev. Actually the stairs in the video went downward into the Underground Mall - a shopping mall for the wealthy!

What they said was true, but not just for Jews. ALL of the former Soviet elderly in the Newly Independent States are in the same fix. We won the Cold War and the economic system that they had supported for their entire lives collapsed.

The pension for the elderly while we were there from 2001 through 2004 was something close to $26.00 USD per month and hasn't increased much in the two and half ensuing years since we departed.

The elderly are in a terrible situation, but it isn't just the Jews and it isn't racist or religious as Pat Robertson and his ministeries lead you to believe.

I guess I have a thing for lies and in particular lies that use Gods name to accumulate personal wealth. Fifty dollars per month would be twice the normal pension in the area they were filming in! Many of the elderly pay for their quarters and provide for themselves completely on half that sum.

They claimed that the fifty dollars would provide 3 meals per week and a box of food the size of a shoe box for the elderly Jews that they claim to be helping. I don't doubt that they are providing what they claim, I just know that would only cost some fifteen to twenty five dollars per month in that economy.

Someone is pocketing at least half of the donations and only trying to help a small minority of the people who are suffering.

On top of that, in the three years that I was in country, I never heard of the organization mentioned helping anyone there! There are plenty of churches that do help and the help is more direct and comes from people who don't wear suits and travel in limos!

Yes, the serfs were glad to get meat once a week or month. The Russians froze all of the meat for the military and what wasn't used in a year was put in the stores for the people. One of our friends said he had no idea that meat didn't come gray until after independance.
