We had to use the thing-a-ma-bob on it because the wobbling shaft had come loose from the thing-a-ma-gig and caused the bobbling-rod to jump loose from the yokel-ninny, thereby causing some serious alterations to the entire hooten-nanny.

The brand name pesticides and insecticides they carried were Ortho. The store brand/generic was packaged by Ortho under the Kmart label. (Except for two years that they contracted with Spectracide.) Same product, different container, different price. Kmart sold Murray lawnmowers and the Kmart brand (KGro) made by Murray. Murrays were red, KGros were green. Both had identical Briggs & Stratton or Tecumseh engines. Identical product, different color, different price. Many of the Kmart garden tools were made by Ames or Scotts except for the really cheap stuff made by Eagle. Weed Whackers and Blowers were made by McCulloch until they went under and then Ryobi. I know this was the same in other areas of the store that sold name brand and store brand items such as over the counter drugs, power tools and hand tools. The only differences were in the packaging, color and PRICE.
