I spent most of the day trying to get my Life Drive that I traded my daughter out od to sync to my PC. Palm and the Microsoft OS should never come into contact without somebody dying! |

Oh lordy ... glad you didn't follow thru with cutting it off    I don't guess there is a lot you can do with a broken hand except wrap it tight and not sure that would help much either. Hopefully its only bad sprained or something that will heal pretty quickly. I've heard a fifth of Jack Black sometimes helps with breaks and things ... maybe you can give that a try. |

Anybody that dranks Jack Black, either gets a helluva discount or aint found out about Evan Williams yet !! We got weather movin in to north Texas and that stuff puts a hurtin on even old breaks, so I had the Mrs. take me to the Wet Spot and I got a half-gallon of Evan Williams Black for the rummatiz.. Darvocet just barely dulls a headache for me.. I aint much on takin pills anyway.. Doctors aint nothin but glorified pushers anymore.. I've had enuff broke bones to know that those pills are bad for you and that some good shine is the best cure for what ails you.. Them damn doctors will hurt you !! |

wild bill, that's soooo funny! i've not met many people who've heard of evan williams! when i was in high school we used to drive 'cross the county line to the bfe liquor store and we'd all pitch pennies together to buy the biggest bottle of evan we could find...boy, that'll put hair on even a sissy boys chest...or 'least make ya' loose your keys in the river!

My Daddy drank Ezra Brooks and swore that Evan had DOPE in it.. He would buy Ezra by the pint, and when Ezra ran out he wouldnt have any problem with my Evan.. Me and Daddy would have some good campfire steaks and stewed taters cooked over some Huckleberry Wood after havin a few Evan and Ezras.. Seems like food just dont taste as good anymore.. I've drank a lot of whiskey in my time, but Evan has to be my choice.. Jack has a "coal oil" burp to it.. I caint drank blended whiskey either.. Somethin bout Crown and Seagrams that just dont sit right with me.. Mostly, its a RICH MAN's drank, and I'm a long way from bein a rich man... OK, so i'm profilin and classifyin .. I have a habit of classifyin those that drank Bud and those that drank Keystone. Like you said Mouse, when you are countin pennies its a good time to look where you been and where you are goin.. I've been countin them pennies all my life .. Thunder sure is gettin close so I better go check the weather.. |

When I was growing up and then started drinking almost everyone drank Old Crow. It was the cheapest available at the time. When someone bought Old Grand-dad everyone thought they were "putting on airs". Most of the time it was drank straight from the bottle and the wimps chased it with coke. I refused to be thought of as a wimp. I never had a mixed drink until I was 23. My first choice in adult beverages is always BEER. There was a point in my life (thank god I'm past it, well mostly ) where anytime I went to spend money I equated the cost of an item to how many cases of beer it would buy. Bud gives me a headach and is too expensive. I miss the Burgie.

What about mad dog? Now that's cheap. I think I drank some when I was younger, maybe went to a concert too, but I don't REMEMBER!! How bout boons farm? I think I drank that once years ago too. Give me a vodka and grapefruit or a bud light and I'm happy. Don't take an prescription medication.

I have 2 friends who "thought" they broke fingers and hands and they didn't go to the doc either. Now they both have to have surgery to straighten out the finger and in the case of the hand to help is operate the way it's suppose to. You might want to rethink that decision, those type things don't go back the way they are suppose to.. |

gary, thanx for caring ...am taking it easy with the hand...sucks to need help doing stuff...not used to being dependent...everything happens for a reason though and learning to be grateful even for the "bad" things that happen is a great lesson!

I member a day down at the swimming hole. Things were going just right before I realized that my little GF wasn't doing all that squiggling just for me. There was an ant bed just under her butt! Ruined my day and didn't do much for her rear view! |

There are herbal sleep aids at the health food store that are better for you than valium or darvocet and non-addictive. They usually contain valerian root. Calcium also helps, so does getting some sunshine during the day. You can substitute full spectrum light bulbs in some of the lamps in your house during the winter months, when the days are short. We lose melatonin in the winter from lack of light, which helps us sleep and prevents depression, but those supplements can cause nightmares and wierd dreams in some people. I never tried them. The light is good for pets, too. |

The Valium was for me after dealing with mom whining and moaning about all the things that her computer won't do. I get in there and the damn thing did everything it was supposed to do. She wonders why I get so pissed off and snippy with her about that damn machine. I'm about the put a startup wav on it that says in a female voice: "Read the F**king Manual!" |

Just make sure you don't go mixing them with valium or prozac or anything like that...could cause you to overdose. ![]() When I first heard of valerian it didn't come in capsules, you had to cap them up yourself. Have you ever smelled valerian.....oh my gosh!!!!!...it's the stinkiest stuff I ever smelled!!! Thankfully they cap them up for you now!
