I build my own homemade shooting sticks. All it takes is a couple of pieces of good hardwood cut down on a table saw, one bolt to hold it together and some rubber epoxied where the rifle cradles in the V and two nails epoxied into the end of the sticks so they will stick in the ground and not move when positioned. You can adjust the up and down by spreading the sticks out or in until you get the right height. Here's a pic of mine with my favorite rifle, an old Sako 30-06.
