Hi fellow sufferers, I have cervical stenosis in C1 to C6 but to add to my woes a couple of weeks ago I was crippled by back pain at first I thought it was just muscular but it has returned and keeps me awake as I can't lay flat, bed time is already difficult with neck pain and this is just too much. My question is has anyone experienced both cervical and spinal stenosis, is it possible I have a problem with my lumbar spine like my neck. I don't know whether to go to my GP, A & E or wait to see my pain consultant. I am worried that my whole spine top to bottom is degenerating. |

As long as you understand what stenosis is then be assured that it can be cured and certainly in the cervical area, have a look around the postings and there is someone who is actually having surgery for this I think with Mr Shackleford. I'm not sure if you're the same person having Lumbar problems whose direct emailing me on my home "board" but there's someone else around with exactly the same problem just keep looking best, Alastair
