Hi All,
Just a very quick post to say I am home having had an L5/S1 replacement with Spinal kinetics M6 which the surgeon is very positive about how the it went. It was observed also by the manufacturers rep and he also was very happy with the surgery. Some complications delayed me from coming home - a huge haematoma and a bowel that was completely inactive. I'm anaemic apparently as I lost 2 units of blood so plenty of R & R needed along with iron and good food! I'm delighted to be home and the complications are irrelevant having seen the truly beautiful image of my lovely new disc on xray!!
So.... on with the business of recovery and I now need to change my profile to Post Surgical. Woo hoo!!!
Off to rest now.

Wishing comfort to us all on here.

Shirley

:D Hi Shirley,

Glad you are home now, have been wondering how you were. Complications happen sometimes.... I'm another who had 4 units transfused post-op...all came good in the end.

You take it easy as you recover, hope its uneventful from now on.

Best wishes

Lynda
