Hi All, Sorry not been on in ages, just one thing and another. Work, family commitments and also poor hubby suffering with an annular tear, disc degeneration and small prolapse. What a pair. Well I'm pleased to say it's 12 months (well OK almost as it's tomorrow) and I'm doing OK. I have flare ups and still got some issues with my neck, but, compared to how it was I am much better. Anyway I just really wanted to say a big big thank you to you all on here and in particular: Alastair, Alison, Gilly, Yalah, Josie and so so many more who have supported me such a lot during my recovery. I think it's still early days recovery wise, but, as they say time is a great healer and it certainly flies. I hope you are all as well as you can be and hope you will let me off for not being on in a while, but, I felt it was significant to make a posting now. In fact I'm making a point of celebrating tomorrow and I'm off work planning (hubby's back depending and my poor Mum's) that we make it out for lunch out and some celebrating a little later with my fabulous friend Anne and her hubby who really put herself out for me last year. I'll never forget all she's done for me! It'll probably end up just a takeaway, but, it marks the occasion. Anyway keep positive, the stumbles are just challenges and well we have each other to fall back on. Take care all and I'll try and post a little more frequently. Jen xxx |

Hi Jen A year already? How time passes. Thanks for updating us, sounds like you're kept busy. Hope you can enjoy your celebrations tomorrow even if it does end up a takeaway. A year post-op is a significant milestone and its good you are much better than you were. Very best wishes and have a great day. Lynda

Gosh Jen, that has gone so quickly, hope things continue to improve for you. I am still recovering - it is a slow process and no doubt the same for you. Hope you had a great celebration. Gilly xx |
