Here at Whitacre we are always in need of people to fill certain positions on the site. If you feel you can fill these positions, then come to this place and apply for them. You could become a professor, member of school faculty, ministry official, shopkeeper and even a Gringott's Goblin. Whatever the position - we need you!

There is no other place for these forums, so they have been placed here. Say your visting a relative in France, then you'd click on Europe and post your thread there. Come and enjoy it and have fun in the whole wide world.

The Ministry of Magic in London, UK. It is one of the oldest known MoM and has one of the most beautiful structures in the magical world. It's main entrance has a gorgeous gold fountain that spurts water from it's wands, the floor and roof is paved in black marble. It is the center government for all magical beings in the United Kingdom, and controls most, if not all, activities performed in the magical community of the UK.

In Diagon Alley is Gringott's bank, which is the worlds favourite banking system. The London branch is the largest, come in and check out your vaults. Or, if your a shopkeeper come here to make your account transactions and allow our goblins to come and tally it up. Remember to ask for assistance when finding your vault.

This is the place where you can find all your wizarding needs! If your looking for some school supplies for the new year, or you just want to go and do a bit of window shopping, then Diagon Alley will be here. Come and get a pet from Magical Menagerie, or get your first ever wand from Ollivander's. It's such a large place to explore... but be careful of Knockturn Alley. To get in it's "Three up...two across..."

Just off Diagon Alley is a long, twisting alley way, Knockturn Alley. It is devoted to the dark arts, full of dark objects and shops. Only those who have lost the path of light and strayed into the darkness come here, only those without hope enter its shadows. It is not recommended for students to come down, especially not alone, especially at night.

For all the muggles out there, come here and find your home. In this forum you can find the various leading governments of the muggle world and not to mention large cities and townships around the globe. Wizards and witch's, if you come here, be sure to blend in. Most certainly, there will be no magic!

If you have a magical illness, or have had a little accident involving magic, chances are St Mungo's can heal it. This hospital has different departments for your assistance and help. If you feel the need to refer someone to the hospital, please contact them. The healers are well trained and happy to help you.

One of the largest train stations in Great Britain, it is the gateway to every county in the British Isles. In this muggle station is Platform 9 ¾. It's a rather old station, but with new muggle technology developing, it is growing into a modern-day masterpiece. Oh, do try one of the pasties while your here.

The Dungeons have been in the castle for centuries, there has been torture, death and terror experiences in these hallowed halls. They go deep underground, so much so the restricted section of the dungeons is so low, the air gets much thinner and the ability to breath becomes difficult. The ghosts of the dead who died here, still haunt the walls of this foreboding place.

The ancient runes of our world, can show many things including the mysteries of the future and of your destiny. So come in and explore the void of your life, and see where it may lead you.

Where you dine with your fellow classmates, and where the annual ball takes place. You can find four oak tables all placed in vertical order with the staff table at the front, many of the layouts of this room have been taken from Hogwarts, Scotland of whom ancestors built the Whitacre Academy.

f your coming here to visit, or just coming in from outside, here is the place you sign in and out. There are large gates protecting the school from intruders and the guard, of whom died many years ago still haunts and patrols around this gate, meet Sergeant Tom. You can also find house points here, so come along and find out if your house is going to win the house cup!

Where the Caretaker works and monitors everything going on around the school using enchanted crystal balls. Here you can find all IC rules and guidelines aswell. It is certainly advised you read this. However when you are sorted, you can find a version of the school rules in each house dormitory, so be careful of what you do.

This is the place where the school choir come to practise, the room is very large and the floors are varnished in gold. The windows are like that of a chapel. The school band also occasionally come here for monthy meetings to practice of the Spring Fete and the Autumn Festival.

In this large hall the major examinations of wizardry qualifications take place. You will be supervised by two members of the Wizarding Examinations Authority in the ministry, who will administer the exams. Furthermore, the room is enchanted so it is impossible to cheat in the exam, and while they are taking place. It is checked yearly by ministry officials.

The pathways to the classrooms. Walk to your lessons or just wander the corridor in your spare time. You never know what adventures await you here. Come and talk to some portraits or even have a little chat or a walk with some friends. Remember there are seven floors of corridor, don't get lost. This is a forum for all RP's that involve being in a corridor, instead of having loads of separate ones.

But remember that these charms are powerful, and some can protect you from very dark creatures, so pay attention and make sure you take down all the notes you can. Cause' you never know, one day you might actually need them.

Where the professor's store old textbooks and other pieces of student's work who have now left the school. It is made of wood, however inside is an awfully large room with thousands of isles of shelves, each containing ancient lost property and other bits and bobs. It's said that it's haunted by a professor who tripped on some mood and hit their head.

Injured? Sick? Well, then let one of the educated nurses take a look at you. They can cure what ails you from a cough to broken bones! If your needing the matron, then come to her office by the side of the wing, she will be more then happy to assist in helping you in what you need.

Ever wanted to know how to fight of dark magic? Send away inferi? Keep your guard from dementors? Then allow our DADA professor lead you the way into success and the ability to be able to perform advanced magic.

This is the place where all bookworms comute and read up on things for homework. However all are welcome to explore the vast Whitacre Castle and the secrets the books keep. Remember, not to delve to deep, as maybe the books are there to trick you, or maybe the books are to real to be alowed in there. Decide for yourselves...

Ever wondered how muggles survive without magic? Wanted to know how they live with all there special devices that help them in every day life? Then why not come along and choose Muggle Studies as your elective and explore the endless world of muggles.

Transform turtles into teapots, matchsticks into needles. Conjure a chair out of thin air. Transfiguration is the place to learn many of the skills you will need for life in the Wizarding World. Our master Professor will be your guide on your journey to knowledge.

Arithmancy is the study of numbers, more specifically the secrets and energies that they contain. Learn to unravel the mysteries of the future and perhaps even your destiny.

This is where the headmaster of Whitacre Academy lives. Professor Lovelight is a very busy man, however he will gladly speak to you in your time of need. The stairwell is guarded by a fierce looking gargoyle, inside his office are heads of dragons along the walls, along with portraits of famous wizards, and floo fireplace which has been used often. At the back of the room is Professor Lovelight's desk, tidy and neat.

Not to far from the main school is the Observatory Tower, this where the astronomy lessons take place. It is a very tall stone tower, with a glass dome at the top with a extremely large telescope. The tower was once an armory, to the castle, but over time it has crumbled and now rebuilt it has been renovated to suit that of astronomy lessons.

The main function of the Great Lawns is for people to come and commute with their fellow students or just to come and gaze across the Snowdonian Mountains and the wondrous marvel that the school is.

The Enchanted Forest is a favourite place for students, it contains beautiful animals of care and serenity. In the twilight you can here the bird chorus as you watch the sun go down and the last light shimmers on the White Eucalyptus Tree's. Don't go to far in, as then you will be entering forbidden part, where creatures of the dark lurk.

The dungeons that lurk underneath the school grounds, they were founded by the gruesome St Clementine. In these forbidden chambers is a series of rooms, each with gallows, torture racks and a guillotine, each have been used once. In the very depths, which has now been caved in are parchments of ancient, dark magic. Capable of unlocking the secrets of destroying magic altogether.

Come and send letters to loved ones, friends, family whoever! With our local owls, who will gladly take your letters to the destination you wish. If you are expecting a letter from someone, then come along here and check the box to see if it is come yet.

The official game of wizards, it's world wide phenomenon and you can be a part of it. If you require some training, first years, then take part in the flying lessons offered here at the Whitacre Academy by our professor flying instructors.
