They'd have to make it a lot more powerful than it's predecessor PS3s in order to fully emulate the PS2. The previous PS3s with PS2 support had PS2 hardware, built in. Even the 'emulator' ones were only partially emulated, and had a PS2 CPU built in, if I remember correctly. |
