Yet another game overlooked by the public. It had commercials and was released around the time of Metal Arms, and was given the same cold shoulder by gamers.

This game was actually pretty fun. The storyline is great. You're a rather short ninja who has a very short temper that is going out of his way to get revenge for his Sense's death. So you go through and you have to find these things called Rage Stones (I think that's what they were...) and each Rage Stone gives you some cool ability, like healing or riding a giant shuriken. Anyway the Rage Stones make a path to the final boss, Emperor O-Dor, and blah blah blah kind of self-explanatory.

Controls were good. The sword control was so perfect. You could control which way you want to attack by moving the stick in the way you want to. So you could be slashing a guy in front of you, then press backward and you'd smack the guy behind you if there was one. Then there's the double jumping and wall-kicking, which were both pretty good except the wall kicking got kind of annoying because of some bad camera angles.

That was the main prob of this game. Camera. At some points it was very hard to perform jumping puzzles, but that was really it. The camera for fighting and stuff was right on the dot, but jumping got a tad bit annoying.

The audio was cool. I liked the music, but the Ninja's voice got kind of annoying when you started slashing up people. It was kinda comical at first, but it got old fast. It didn't ruin the game, but it was just really annoying.

So overall this was a pretty tight game that deserved a bit more respect from gamers, but it really was a quiet game. I give it an 8.5/10. It would be a nine, but the simplicity of the game was just a bit too...simple. Hack and slash with some rather annoying stealth missions in which if you're sighted you automatically die >.<

Ryan, a lot of gamers hate "kiddie" games... Why do you think the Gamecube isn't that popular in the U.S.

I'm probably the oldest gamer here and I enjoyed I-Ninja. I enjoy the quote unquote kiddie looking games. Its a break from reality to me. Games can look realistic or look like cartoons. I'm not biased. Just as long as they are enjoyable.
Some of the cute looking games are the most challenging.

Dude I-Ninja was released for all the consoles, not just the GC. And this game really wasn't that "kiddy" of a game. It had plenty of action and even some green blood in it.

Now I admit the character looks kiddie, but he's pretty badass when it comes down to it. I'm pretty sure he actually says damn or something at one point, but I forget...Either way thsi was still a cool game, despite its apparent "kiddie look", which I don't even think is there.
