Heard Dave Ramsey's speak about this verse on his show today. I have listed some different translations. Ramsey mentioned how this could take on a meaning in today's political climate! The "right" and the "left"...........surprised I didn't hear this verse during the elections. In the Bible: Ecclesiastics: 10:2, is stated "The wise man's heart inclines him to the right, the fool's to the left" A wise man's heart is at his right hand, but a fool's heart at his left. WEB A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left. ASV The heart of the wise man goes in the right direction; but the heart of a foolish man in the wrong. BBE The heart of a wise man is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left. DBY A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left. KJV A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart is at his left. WBS A wise man's understanding is at his right hand; but a fool's understanding at his left. JPS The heart of the wise 'is' at his right hand, And the heart of a fool at his left. YLT |

What does that mean for all the "left handed" people of the world? |

(snort) don't tell my son that! He came home after bb practice last night and said "this kid had a shirt on that I was a bit offended by" I said really what did it say? "Lefties do it right, but righties do it better." I lost it! |

Depends on who you ask I guess. My wife might argue against the truthfulness of that statement |

Kind of a hard one to tell huh? I would agree with it, though! |
