Fine BuddyIwish.. You think you have all the answers between right and wrong...and what should have been done and shouldn't have been done... Why don't you run for office and save us all..... For me I can only pick the candidates (right or wrong) I truly think THEY belived they were doing the right thing for their country... I will never think that putting a cigar above keeping my promise to never stop searching for those that attacked....was what 'he' thought was the 'right thing'.. Go on BuddyIwish.. What should we have done and what should we do... |

Pardon the pun! I'd say most of them are wide open. That includes the walls. |

White I have made perfectly clear what I would have done. I knew Chalabi and the rest of the expatriates were only speaking in regards to their own self interest. That has been the role of an expatriate for eternity. Why wouldn’t a leader as supposedly learned as Rice or Rummy or Powell or Cheney or Bush not understand this role of the expatriates?. Our own inspectors along with the U.N. inspectors did not find any evidence of WMD. There was no proof of connection between Saddam and Bin Laden.. Containment was working. We were flying all around Iraq freely. With out any fear of a effective attack. How could a country as unsubstantial as Saddam’s Iraq. Be anymore of a threat to America. Than a single American with a Hertz truck full of Sulfate of Ammonia and Diesel fuel? In the war on terror. There is only one man to concern yourself with. I know exactly who he is. He is the man with the explosives. Strapped to his chest.. |

BuddyIwish... Ya know I luv ya but ... I can not truly know what you would have wished (I'm a big fat amatuer, with a bunch of 'ideas', not a big time forum guru that keeps track LOL)... I just believe that more have been saved than lost... No matter which group has been saved or lost... Life is Life to me no matter if it 'looks, talks, or acts' like me or if it is just a person hoping to live one more day... You may not be able to save 'em all... but save those you can... No matter if they can or can't read or if they can or can't read... |

The deserts of the middle east have been war torn and battle weary for over 2000 years. I'd be perfectly ok with letting them continue to blacken each other's eyes, except for one thing....THEY brought that battle HERE..THEY murdered 3000+ American citizens on American soil. What are we supposed to do, sit back and say "well ok..maybe they won't do it again?" We already did that once. When they bombed the Trade Center. What kind of message did we send them then..."OK, no retaliation, lets try again!" or worse yet "HEY <<<<<They got away with it, lets do it too!!" Here is why we are in Iraq. The original intent was to remove Saddam from power. UN sanctions were in iminent danger of being irrelevent and that would have allowed the ability to trade freely with the terrorists. If we had not gone to war with Iraq, the base of operations for Al Queda would have shifted to there from Afghanistan. Given Saddam's track record for supporting terrorists groups like Hamas (and Al Queda) there is also no doubt he would have been a willing supplier of chemical WMD's. Our current fight is with those who will not allow Iraqi autonomy. The US will be out of Iraq in a heartbeat once a stable govt is in place. If they didn't want us in their backyard, they shouldn't have thrown their ball into ours. |

Just like the Islamic Facists will always hate us no matter what we do, so will the Buddylam's - here and abroad - continue to help make us weak. There is no reasoning with the Buddylam's of the World, just as there isn't any reasoning with the Islamic Facists. Read thier intentions here in English. |
