I tried it, but I forgot to print the recipe out so I winged it. I put in: 1 can of peach pie filling 1 can of peach slices in heavy syrup juice and all sprinkled one box of yellow cake mix evenly over it one stick of margrine cut in pats and placed evenly over the cake mix The verdict? Hubby said it was AWESOME, Daughter said it had a few too many peaches (but she is picky) Son said nothing, he was to busy stuffing his face! Next time I will make sure the peaches are more evenly layed out. The were some higher points, so the cake mix in those areas didn't mix with the juices right. |

I guess I'm gonna give it another try after I totally messed it up the first time. Made coffee crumb muffins today. Used a mashed banana instead of the egg, they turned out great. Can't wait to see what the troops say. |

Glad to hear it, Stacy. I still think I'd prefer the cherrie pie filling and pineapple version, but peach sounds good, alright. Its just that the original gives you such a sugar rush, its like that old Jackie Gleason line; "To the MOON, Alice!" 3rofl 3rofl 3rofl 3rofl 3rofl |

See I am not a big Pineapple fan, and I love cherry flavoring, but have weird issues with the texture of cherries themself! Not sure this would be as good with apples, or pears, but my daughter wanted to try it with peach pie filling, but canned pears added instead of more peaches. Who knows we may give it a shot! This is one of those recipes that you have a lot of room to play around with! |

Might be good together but we have always done them seperately. If you do them together let us know how it was. |

This is turning out to be a fun recipe! I like the ones were you can play aroun with them, and no matter what they turn out good! I am an apple person, so I will have to give that one a try. But for the peach I used one can of pie filling and one can of sliced peaches in heavy syrup, so what do you use for the apples. Two pie filings? |
