I labeled the picture in a way that didn't include the title and now I can't remember which episode Goren's little 'cop-a-feel' happened, darnit. It does look like Season 1 to me too. I do know that it's not the only time he's done that. (I watch for stuff like this :P ) (not that I look overly much at Eames breasts all the time or anything) (no, I swear) (really)

edited to add: I found it!

It's from Dead.

oh jeebus, that's HI-larious. This is becoming a truly inspirational thread. I've decided to browse through my Eames Breast Pictures Collection to see if I can find another fine example like the one above, to bring to the gallery.

but a good paralleling shot:

oooooo, they're in trouble.... LOL

this photo brings up an interesting thought.
remember the convo we had around Loyalty-time about their stress-tells? How Eames gets an "itchy face" and Bobby scratches the back of his head?
ok so: I know that sometimes Bobby also puts his hand over his mouth when he's REALLY distressed. and Alex sometimes adjusts her hair or whatnot. but USUALLY, B's thing is scratching his hair/neck, and hers is puttin her hands on her face in some way, shape or form.
In this photo, they are basically doing the other's stress-tell. They might as well be doing the same thing. TOTAL parallel, good call, Paulie!
...or, they're just trying to make a point that they both have overlapping stress tells. they both put their hands over their mouth sometimes, and they both scratch their neck sometimes. idk.
however you slice it, it shows unity imhso.

Here's another "touch". Fleeting. No boob action, but a touch nevertheless:

mmmm, the "queasy" one.

I remember a looonng conversation about this scene, somewhere. I couldn't find it in the "undaunted mettle" thread.

but yeah. did we come to a conclusion as to what this touch meant? was the consensus that he just did it to show her that he was aware of what she was feeling? do we agree she looked uncomfortable there??

dang, I wish I could find that...

E2A: ok I found it, it's on page 2 of the pregnancy thread.
well, at least most of it, there are some quotes pasted in from somewhere else but I don't know where... kinda bugs me but oh well; I'm not goin thru this whole board to find it. that's just my OCD, and I'm gonna let it go!

I believe uni.]/i] was the first to bring this hypothesis up. Before her appealing thought, I believed he put his hand on her by distraction while trying to get her full attention. But now, I go with her input :D

I think Goren is quite solicitous towards Eames during her pregnancy, at least in these early days. It would be only natural for him to be so since he is her friend and partner.

Putting aside our wonderful previous discussions about if he's the father or not, I think he can't help himself, as a man around a cherished woman (of whatever status in his life). And even if they are not or never have been lovers as of this point, if they are close - bosom buddies - he would kind of think of it like it's his baby too.

Which makes me think of the very interesting dynamic of her giving up that baby and how that affected her, and by extension, Bobby. There are so many possibilities and what-if's, it could keep fans and fanfickers busy for years. .... oh wait, it already has. :P

I just watched this yesterday and really saw the touch on the shoulder clearly for the first time. It looked to me more like Vincent touching Kate. Kate was pregnant and moving in the chair in an uncomfortable manner and Vincent put his hand on her shoulder kinda llke saying he knows she isn't feeling well. I think Vincent (like Bobby) is a very sensitive person and this is something he would do without thinking. Either way, I think it is very sweet.

decent point! we really have no idea how much of the discomfort we perceive to be Eames' is Eames', or Erbe's. I've often wondered about this, how sucky it must be to play a pregnant woman when you actually are, if you're not feeling well. we only see her feel a little uncomfortable a couple of times, but imagine how often the actress herself actually felt like that. (possibly. I know some pregnant women don't get nauseous or really uncomfortable). I think the time she actually said something about it ("morning sickness, still getting used to it") was written in (although it is dubbed... definitely NOT what she originally said, so that could trump this theory). but perhaps in Undaunted Mettle, it was more Erbe, which could explain why it is subtle. (first time I saw this one, I didn't even notice. and I was a'shippin'. I should have).

...now that I think about it, I don't think these two would bring that into a scene with them... unless the director or whoever wanted it, or they discussed it, etc. but idk. just thoughts. I'm on the fence.
pasting over to pregnancy thread for future reference.

OK, let me just say that if she didn't "like" him, there is no way in the world she would wear that top to work.

Anyway, I was watching "Stress Position" yesterday. I don't think I see a thread on it, but perhaps I missed it. I thought our two stand in interesting ways when Logan is brought in to help them. She has that suspicious wife look, arms crossed and such, while he seems to be much more open. They struck me as a couple assessing a new person, sort of like that Goth couple did in the episode (I'm forgetting the name) that has the woman who takes advantage of vulnerable men ending up dead in a coffin ... it has the great scene in a toy store.

I love this place. Sometime I think of something or notice something and then a day or two later, someone puts on one of the threads. I was just thinking about some of the ways that Eames dresses. The tight tank tops and there's one or two tops that show off her curves but I just noticed how she puts the jacket on when they are out and interviewing people but the jacket comes off at 1PP when she and Bobby are working close together. No doubt Bobby notices this not so subtle flirting. These are two very attractive people, no one can tell me that there isn't a strong attraction there, ship or no ship, they are both peeking. :P
