excellent points. y'know, skittles, now that you say that, I think it's very likely that this was the reason they edited it out. Same as it did to us, at first it seemed like a great idea. But when you think about her actually wearing it, the scenario seems a little less plausible. (I think Eames would wear it tho :ph43r: ) which means (if in fact this is why they cut the scene)..... ![]() we were meant to assume the shippy implications here. It was done on purpose, implied. wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! I mean, what the heck else is that scene there for? I think I've said this before (a lloooong time ago), but it could very easily have been a locket, pair of diamond earrings, or an infinite number of other possible momentos. but it's not. |

anybody following their filming progress??? guest performers i wish they'd invite back: Martha Plimpton, Billy Lush, and the fellow who played Chocolate Jimmy (stress position) and Charlie (on fire) and the young woman who portrayed Robbie's sister in 'scared crazy' - i thought she was terrific. and, it's a tiny part, but the young woman who played the "Sir Sitsalot" bistro waitress in 'vacancy.' |

Ok, now that we are realistically talking about the 'hypothetical episode' I am going back to my original thought.....I WANT SOME TONGUE ACTION GOSH DARNIT. And I mean it. I want indisputable proof, not more inuendo.

Speaking of Donny Carlson... check this interview out: It's Lou Taylor Pucci and Trevor Morgan (who played Donny) - who happen to be best friends in real life - doing an interview about a new movie they are co-starring in - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1xsh3AWb4k |

lol, that's definitely one of the things I'm mostly looking forward too (Donny Carlson). However, like I said it a couple of months back, they definitely need to give us a proof that would shake the most hardcore NoRomo... Whether it's tongue action or them hand in hand, whatever... It's gotta be strong. Nonetheless, as usual I ain't putting my hope up <_< As for guest stars, I personally hate it when the same actor appears for a different character. I find that to be very distracting... It ruins the illusion... well kinda... |

Yes, I'm not getting my hopes up to be disappointed. I'm sure we will have to Zapruder and discuss the new episodes to point out the subtle "tells of the heart" that we observe. But we shippers are an observant extra-perceptive group and that is why we have the USS ship! I find the same actor playing a different character distracting too unless they just had a tiny little part the first time. There are enough actors in New York to give someone else a chance! I DO enjoy seeing an actor bring back a character we met before i.e. Wally Stevens, Connie, Lewis... |

agreed. like how Fisher Stevens was 2 different guys... totally threw me, especially in his case. He's just so memorable. I was like, wait a minute, Ray Garnett again??? I agree about recurring characters like Wally though. see, they can't really do both, and have it make sense. so weird. There's lotsa actors out there, get a new person! and I'm even picky about using the same actor on different L&O shows as different people. totally kills the suspension of disbelief. It's one L&O universe, it should be completely canonical and consistent. but I'm weird  |

For me, it all depends on the actor or actress. The same actress (whose name I can't remember) was in Zoonotic, Magnificat, and Bedfellows and that didn't bother me - maybe because the roles were very different. On the other hand, I've never been able to watch In Plain Sight because I can't picture Marshall as anything other than the stable boy in Ill Bred. |

Okay I'm officially weird (shut up, GF when you read this ), because I like it when that happens. One of my favorite repeaters is that actor (Pablo Schreiber) who was the "actor"/killer who ran from the audition in The Unblinking Eye and also was writer/killer in Self Made. I remember him from The Wire. And now he's in a new show, Lights Out, with the actor who played Copa from Amends. They're everywhere! But I agree with you about the using of different actors for the same role, that just doesn't work for me. The worst case of this has to be Joey Frost/Josh Snow. I'd love to hear the backstory on this. I hope it was a case of Lou Pucci not being able to do it at the last minute, rather than the writers/showrunner thinking we would just ignore the obvious... but which, conversely, they kept hitting us on the head with (the names, the story, the boy, everything else). That was laughable. |

Hopping on over from the Anti-thesis thread... If there is ANY WAY POSSIBLE to bring back Nicole without totally *"jumping the shark" , I would LOVE to see a scene where she and EAMES spar and play the "tit for tat" game! Maybe the reason why we never got one (besides the zing from Nicole about ripe eggs in "Great Barrier") is because it would undoubledly be too shippy for LOCI. I'm sure Eame's feelings for Bobby would be revealed. sigh. Just think of all the other stuff that could be revealed to explain the mysterious Eames. Of course Bobby would be the one to get Nicole in the end and she would poison herself before her trial. That way Bobby would have the peace of knowing she is really gone, but not the guilt of having shot her or stress of waiting for years thru many appeals for her execution. How could they bring her back? 1. Someone else's DNA info. was switched with Nicole's. It was someone else's heart. 2. Nicole seduced Rodgers and got her to lie. The Mark Ford Brady thing was a lie too..... just to mess with Bobby. (Hey, as long as I'm imagining the ridiculous  ) 3. Nicole DOES have a twin sister whose birth was never recorded. 4. She is so evil she doesn't need a heart or blood to sustain life. * The whole Mark Ford Brady= father thing almost put LOCI over the shark for me, but I just revved up the imagination. Since it IS part of canon, I'd like to see Bobby have to deal with something about his biological dad. An old case, long lost 1/2 sibling....struggle to not think of him as part of his (Bobby's) identity... and of course Eames would be the strong one who makes it all better. sigh. Um. Am I thinking too much? |
