FAVOURITES (spelled Canadian way) 'cause i'm trying to distract myself from my angst and it gives me an excuse to post pix. any favs. episodes, lines, scenes, wardrobe, music, guest stars, plot lines ... some LOCI homage. best episode ever was 'in the wee small hours'. it was. it was starring New York City, and i loved that. ![]() there was this ... and there was 'Ocean's Two' which might be Eames' best one liner ever. we learned more about Bobby's mom, and then there was the most amazing confrontation in Hottub Harry's chambers ... and this. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I can never decide on a favorite, I love the whole series so much. But I have to say that Blind Spot has to be in the top 3, maybe even #1. Eames kicked all kinds of ass. The whole twisting the hook loose from the ceiling and sticking the electric wire in the door lock, and then climbing up the wall - in her spiky heels no less (OMFG), it was beyond awesome. My favorite D'Onofrio episode is Endgame, hands down. He should have won an Emmy for that. It never fails to impress me still, the whole thing, even after 20-30 viewings. And as for what makes me a closet shipper: My favorite Eames scene of all time is in Third Horseman. It's where she says "promise me a margarita". So, so cute and vulnerable. And her scratchy voice is hot. Way hot. No way she says that to just another 'co worker', that way. If one of my female co workers wanted me to "promise her a margarita" in that kitten voice, I'd totally think she was coming on to me. |

ROFL  It's hard for me to decide too, but yes "Endgame" is definitely on my Favorite List: that was one hell of an episode! For now I'm just gonna put some of my all time favorite eps (per season) ![]() *Warning the list is long ![]() One of my favorite moments in season 1: "The Third Horseman"... The abortion topic. I love it so bad when Eames told Bobby with that authority of hers "You're gonna have to do better than that Bobby" and he complies ![]() "Homo Homi Lupus".... I just adore the scene where Bobby gets to make the 14 year old talk. So sweet and compassionate man ![]() Season 2: "Anti-Thesis"-- Bobby's first confrontation with Nicole in the interrogation room "Bright Boy"-- Where B/A were talking about their last high school year... Such an adorable scene ![]() "Suite Sorrow"-- picture moment and Bobby freaking out at the end  "A Person of Interest"-- ALL the B/A moments from the scene where Eames told Goren "You didn't listen Bobby"... to the moment in the observation room where he's confiding in her ![]() Season 3: "Stray"--- The end scene where Bobby is torturing that Jerome kid; that always cracks me up! F.P.S-- yearning (enough said )"Unrequited"-- that dance around Eames and how Bobby really couldn't get that old lady to let them in her place (lol) "Pas de Deux"--- I know a lot of people love this one ![]() Season 4: "Semi-Detached"-- I loved everything in this ep but I must especially point out the moment where B/A where alone with Nelda. Where Eames gets out of the room, the conversation between Bobby and Nelly and when Bobby gets out of the room, the conversation between Eames and her! "Want"-- Bobby's sympathy for Tagman and the insight we get... (you never really get used to being alone) "Silver Lining"--- Well, you know ![]() "Magnificat"--- Oh the whole case! Bobby with the 'affect' topic--- too cool! |

And the list continues: Season 5: "Grow"-- Nicole was trying to get better. I really loved that and I'm sorry but Bobby was just so cold... jeez! "ITWSH" (Parts I & II)--- yes uni. I love it mostly for those reasons too ![]() "Acts of Contrition"--- I just love that ep: the storyline, where B/A caught those pimps Bobby like a demon with the lighter and fire (lol); pretty hot  "Vacancy"-- deep subject... Season 6: "Blind Spot" (of course duh )"Siren Call"-- Bobby's vulnerability, the key moment in the start, Eames' question at the end *sniff* (very sad ep) "The War at Home"-- Work vs Personal life. Eames trying to help and like someone once said needed to be needed *sigh* "Brother's Keeper"--- the whole brother meeting moment (sad). Bobby struggling/wanting his mom to survive *sniff* "Silencer"-- Bobby jealous (lol) And of course "Endgame" (but really depressing ep )Season 7: "Amends"--- I'm speechless "Untethered"--- WOW, we've got Loyalty all over this one ...."Purgatory"--- No surprise there, right? ![]() "Vanishing Act"--- Fooling around like children and Holidays' insight ![]() "Frame"-- awww, so heartbreaking but damning ![]() Season 8: "Identity Crisis"-- the end scene between Bobby and the killer: so subtle and powerful scene (imo) "Lady's Man"-- Of course ![]() "Family Values"--- where Bobby is getting to Mr. Devilis and when rescuing the girl ![]() Season 9: "Loyalty" (Part I)-- Sorry about that, but like uni. stated it, this does help soothe the angst ![]() |

oh please don't apologize. favourite scenes ... the aria of 'jones'. the toystore in Philadelphia ('collective'), and finding out that Bobby's brother almost put his eye out with a Johnny Seven One Man Army rifle. (LOL!) and 'frame' in Ross's office. i thought he'd get an emmy nod for that one fer sher. but episode-wise, 'blind spot' does live in a league of it's own, doesn't it?? they both kick the hell out of their parts in that one. Eames' escape is maginificent. it would have been easy to 'over the top' that, but KE is so excellent. she is subtle and believable and perfect. even the way she staggers and tilts while she's running in the hallway, hook in her hand. something i've wondered from time to time ... what would Eames have done if she'd encountered Jo Gage down there just then? i think she'd have hit her with that hook first, asked questions later. and i LOVE that it's a little dog that comes to the window. that is a beautiful detail. (why it made it into a fanfic chapter.) and the big guy is pretty amazing himself. so much of what happens in 'blind spot' happens in their faces, in slight muscle movements. the flickering of eyes. favourite guest star = Martha Plimpton handed in the best guest performance (IMHO) in the aria. (shivering at the memory. so creepy. so excellent.) there have been tons of really outstanding guest performances, but i thought she was the best. but i still love Liza Minnelli's shot in "Masquerade". for one thing, Beth Harner is a ridiculous character, and she played her without reservation. i love that. (she is a good sport.) and she is really IN the episode. most really famous guests do a scene or two, but Miss Minnelli works her amazing butt off for her part. and i love the aria, the way usually-not-physical-in-any-way Eames practically wraps herself around Beth in a protective embrace. LOVE THAT!!!!!!!! i also love that all three of the stars of 'Cabaret' were guests on LOCI. too much fun. i think Chocolate Jimmy and his mom are my favourite bit characters. (the no good biscuit eating son of a bitch.) and i love the bit character scene in 'Grow', when Logan takes candy to the dude in holding ... i don't know why, but i get all breathless at that one. so, speaking of 'sorry i'm writing so much ... ' (i'm staving off an anxiety attack. bogoalexea - do you think your mom could sneak a pill into my yogurt, too????) |

ROFL  Thank you uni. I really needed that  And all those scenes/guess starts you mentioned I love them too!!! You see, I just leave out so much ![]() Favorite lines (well, these are what I can think of... for now) "False Hearted Judges" Bobby at the end "A world with no mercy; that's no place to live in" In "Vacancy"--- also at the end Bobby "This search for the truth is not for the fainthearted"... It kinda makes me think of "Endgame" how he really wanted to know the truth though he knew it could hurt. And talking about "Endgame", I just love it how at his mother's bedside, he saw she was getting upset so he told her "Lets talk about something else" (!) He was soo eager to know but for his mom's well-being he decided to drop the subject... idk, I just thought that was very sweet/tender/self-forgetting of him. Any mom would love a son like that. But unfortunately Frances didn't know what kind of son she had in her hands *sigh* Jeez... Just thinking about the Bobby-Frances relationship depresses me ![]() Anyway, another favorite scene came to my mind ![]() "The Faithful" in the start at the crime scene, Bobby used the CSU guy's head to get up on the top of the bench LOL... That's just so disrespectful  And another favorite quote "Seizure" Bobby-- "...she killed out of love" Carver-- "love?" Bobby-- "a many splendor thing" One more favorite quote "A Person of Interest" Eames-- "Can they print a hand gesture?" lol Despite Bobby's state of mind, he couldn't help but smile a little! |

I was amazed to learn that the same actor that played Chocolate Jimmy, was also the crazy 'need for speed, WOO HOO' roommate in On Fire. |

Let's see.... Believe it or not... Purgatory may be one of my top 5. I love the emotion that Eames gets to show, I think her scenes were amazing. Blind spot, of course, not only because Eames kicks ass, but also because (I believe) Bobby's true feelings for Alex are displayed for and recognized by Gage. FPS....only b/c We get to see how unhappy he is without eames and how much he wants her back.."It's about yearning. He misses his partner". Wee small hours, b/c...well you know. The War At home. Bobby slowly losing it. Eames trying to help him keep it together. Bobby's explosion and Eames cold demeanor when she finally realizes he wants to deal with his s..t alone and she's had enough of being ignored. I felt like in that one scene, when he comes back after his tantrum and tries to talk to her about the case...I love when she walks away from him. I actually shouted "good for you Alex". Sometimes he really treated her like crap. Endgame, because the spiral has really just begun. Suite Sorrow, because I like Amy Ryan and I thought the episode was just written really well. And of course, who can forget that "picture" scene. One more...Actually two. Zoonotic...B/c Bobby seems protective of her in a way. Silencer...who can watch that episode and not see a jealous Bobby. (Even my husband..he of the non-shippers) thought Goren was jealous of Peter. Oh, sorry. Last one. I think it was called Shiboleth. I loved the crime and the way it was written. I don't know why...I just loved that episode. And no shippiness was evident at all. One more...sorry... Rocketman. Not b/c of anything shippy, but again, while ripped from the headlines, it was acted well, Amy Ryan again, and Tate Donovan. I just love him. |

I think if I was forced to pick one episode for best ever, it would have to be Blindspot. Best scene? Off the top of my head, the, "Is that your wife?" scene in Brother's Keeper. Bobby was so damn flustered when Frank figured things out. Same thing with, "Are you the girl he brought to the funeral?" in Blink - Bobby acted like his father's friend caught him redhanded. |

Speaking of Brother's Keeper, I would never have noticed the part where Goren says "I don't know" to Frank's question if you guys hadn't pointed it out. Even my girlfriend had not seen that, and she's the Zapruderer. Now she's all over that scene. When she finally gets here, that will most probably go on her favorites list. |

I like "Albatross" a lot. The scene in the bar while our two wait for Maisy the coat check girl ... I just wish Maisy had been running later. It could have gone on forever! I also love Vincent's look throughout. His hair, his face; he looks like some sort of Roman god. I run to the DVDs and tend to return to "Baggage," "Pas de Deux," "Poison," "Shiboleth" and "Stray." Last year, the one and only I liked was "Lady's Man," but that was a great one in my opinion. (edited to add episode name) |

I know people like to talk crap about season 8 but there are several episodes I liked very much. I think my favorites are Playing Dead and Identity Crisis, because I liked the stories so much. They were both profoundly sad and as often happened throughout all the years of CI, I had much sympathy for the guilty person. (Not in Playing Dead, that child abusing father was supremely slimy) In Identity Crisis, that guy was just a tragic figure, a genius coming from a horrible childhood, probably somewhat mentally ill, and then he kills his poor dying brother. |

I'm with you on that; season 8 wasn't that bad! I love "Playing Dead" too, especially where Bobby's speaking with that phony french accent (lol) "a print out would do, uh?" and where he's at the victim's bedside
