I came across this while looking for a different news article and I instantly thought of Palentine. I have no idea why.....(I think it could be his avatar here) Anywho....Linky!

Such amusing fiction, these stories they tell. It always comes to this. If they really had a desire to live, they would've been more aware of how easy it is to die, would've chosen their actions more wisely. In these moments, you can tell they're not regretting having hurt you. They're regretting doing it to your face. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

Thanks, I found about this on his website. Luckily they seem to have caught the cancer early enough. I'm going to be sending him a card soon. He was one of my favorite heel wrestlers growing up. I hope he beats the cancer, last year John "Earthquake"Tenta died from cancer. 'Quake was also a Canadian, and a helluva great guy. He was a regular on the Wreslecrap Forum board. |

I would like to think if I were arranging a royal assassination, I’d plan in such a way that I wouldn’t be standing there gawking like a fool when the King died. -Tyrion Lannister

No problem. It makes me a little sad to see all the old school wrestlers going. I know that they're getting up there in age, but you just can't beat wrestlers like Piper. I've been a hardcore wrestling fan since I was..um...5 or 6, so I grew up watching the likes of Piper, Hogan, Andre and a slew of others. It's just not the same today as it was then. Us Canadians seem to produce a bunch of them too. Piper, Hart (pick one), Benoit, just to mention a few. I hope that Piper does beat this thing. |

You might want to check out www.Wrestlecrap.com for a humorous look at the worst of the wresling gimmicks. Their forum board is also great. Lance Storm also has a great site with commentaries and a book club. www.stormwrestling.com/index1.html |
