Who wants to be in a Commonwealth with people who are too wussy to watch Australian tourism ads that say 'bloody'? On the other hand, if it weren't for the Commonwealth we mightn't be able to play cricket with India and Pakistan. Or have the fine example of Canada to remind us that once upon a time we, too, believed in human rights and knew how to keep the United States at arm's length (friendly arm's length, but arm's length, nonetheless). Or South Africa to prove to us that saying sorry works. And we wouldn't have New Zealand to slag off all the time, either, so we'd have to take it out on Tasmania. Yay the Commonwealth! |

I have often wondered about the term Commonwealth. It sounds so bloody... Communist. |

Oh... yeah... Commonwealth Day... Well, the Queen was in town. That's about all I know, or care, about this Commonwealth Day. |

Also known as Istahan, Garialda, Aluzian, Anden, Darsomir, the Remnants of Enn and Dasri. Plus a few others I can't remember, and never lasted past 30 days. Since 13 January 2004! | |

Yeah, apparently she caused some terrible traffic jams. Embarrassing, isn't it, to belong to a country that has to import its traffic jams. |

I didn't know she was in the country. Just goes to show how much attention I've been paying to the news lately. |
