"It's Christmas Day, a day of peace," said chief writer Russell T Davies. "There is absolutely an anti-war message because that's what I think."
"You would think it obvious to anyone, with a grain of intelligence, that there are far too many people born in England."

To be honest, I think that any anti-war message in the programme is going to be overshadowed somewhat by the prosect of "Robot Father Christmas's" and a "Killer Christmas Tree".

Still, it's the thought that counts.
"What does your conscience say? — 'You should become the person you are".

-Friedrich Nietzsche

"Oh, I could spend my life having this conversation - look - please try to understand before one of us dies".

-John Cleese

Your scored -2.5 on the Moral Order axis and -0.5 on the Moral Rules axis.

Merry Christmas ...
[snip]
Happy Ramadan ...

[modhat] I don't care how you meant that. It was completely out of line and incredibly insensitive.

I don't want to see comments like that again.

This is an official warning.[/modhat]

I don't get it. If you think it was something against Muslims ... no, it wasn't.
Davies wants to make a statement against the war on a "day of peace"; I was just trying to point out that a few good, pro-peace things did result from this war; i.e., the elections, Saddam in jail...
Badly expressed, maybe; intentions were good...

It was phrased as such. Don't do it again.

Meh, we can't go back in time, so we can't stop the initial invasion anyway. And bringing home the troops would only cause more problems.

Still, my love of Doctor Who will always over-rule my beliefs over the Iraq War...
Norbert

But my name is Steve!

No no no, it's spelled, "Steve," but it's pronounced, "Norbert ".

It's Mr June

So. It wasn't as anti-war as the stuff in the last series. Quite funny. And SND was well… *sigh*

Honesty I don't see what you lot find so objectionable about him… brilliant hair.
