Hey Alex, here is a partial fixed EHT. (It's better.)

Okay now that I have some retrospect- there was a thing or two about the inventor- my greatest concern is the clockwork companion feature Sighted. It sees invisibility regardless of how well it is hidden? This ability is too broad and vague and powerful. With its tele link to me, with my sighted pistol, I could get crazy advantages... Anyone else agree? And the improved cc feat might be a bit janky if I can keep stacking it past 3.

The other thing was that, with half BAB and a ton of gadgets per day, it takes too many pistol upgrades and special ammunition to make it worth focussing on the gun at all, and I'm saddened that I wasted a feat on fast reload, as an I that I wasted gp on the pistol upgrades. I ended up being totally reliant on my spells, and I should have been spamming magic missile when I was firing a fun or throwing a grenade. I still had four more at my disposal by the end of the last combat. Gods, how embarrassing.

Sighted doesn't see invisible or ethereal creatures, it specifically says that. In fact, I think I made a mistake on sighted, as it says "It can telepathically sense it's environment as well as a creature with normal vision or hearing." so it probably shouldn't have been able to see through the fog. Even then, it's no better than a level 0 spell (detect magic) or a bag of flour (5 copper pieces). If it doesn't give you the ability to ignore the 50% miss chance, it's not overpowered.
And as for Improved Clockwork Companion, it really isn't broken. It's the same as any skill focus feat or save boosting feat, but it makes your clockwork companion get powers sooner. At the same time, clockwork companions are squishy as fuck, and be killed very easily.

And, well yeah. You're a caster.
XD
You were like a wizard who bought a really cool magical sword and thought he could use it.

And oh, yeah. Just re-read Sighted. Ummmm Yeah I bet I tried to skim it again. In my head I remember "Although it has no physical sensory organs, a clockwork companion can telepathically sense its environment... Darkness (even supernatural darkness) is irrelevant, as are areas of supernatural silence... discern invisible... beings. A clockwork companion’s sighted range is 40 feet."
