((OOC: Excuse any spelling mistakes, I have added so many words (mostly nouns) to my computer's spell check, that it ignores some things thinking that I will add them)) The prince was in his study, which sort of ajoined his room via the main corridor in this wing. The door was opposite his, and no-one else really used it, so it was commonly called his. This suited him just fine, as it meant he could keep his bedroom for clothes, the sort of makeup worn in court to make you seem unearthly, and trinkets and charms he had been given or had found around on his travels across the known world. He was reading a book written quite recently about Morganheith. Aerilon had an incredibly curiosity as to why people chose to live in such a dark and lawless place. Even though he considered it to be a province of his father's kingdom, it was a land in it's own right. It was when he started reading about Huon Shoulder Fort when he was interrupted by a soft knock on the door. Hastily he shoved the book out of sight and turned to see who was there, but found there was not a single soul. Curiously he stepped out into the corridor. Tha passage was empty too, and it was long and straight, the only other nearby doors were to his personal chambers, and he had left all three of them locked. Frowing, he returned to his study. Whoever had knocked on his door, was either a very quick on their feet, or invisable. Though there had been someone there, for when he tried to return to his book, he found that it was gone... |
