Tanis looked over the land, it was too dark, he couldn't see hardly anything. He could make his dragon send out a constant flame but that would take away the whole hidden thing. He decided to turn back, no use wasteing time when he can't see anything. He turned around and flew back to near the pub, he flew low to the ground and then jumped off the dragon landing without a sound on his knee. He quickly got up and ran around the corner looking to see if anyone had seen or heard him or the dragon. The allies were empty. "Drat, I was in a killing mood too" He smirked turning and running towards the pub. He reached the door and walked in. He went back to his seat next to Tink and looked at his beer, it seemed somewhat less than when he had left, he didn't worry about it and downed the drink. "No luck, couldn't see anything, But their time will come" He said ordering another drink. |

Ekki gave Tanis a tired wave, though he really didn't know him. 'Whatcha looking for?' |

"Oh, hi Ekki. How are you?" Tink said belatedly, sipping at her beer and pleased that she hadn't added 'all' to the end of that question. "From what I gather...Illi, was it? Seems to have been kidnapped." she told Ekki. "Tannie and Angel went to search for her." She looked down. She should have helped, even if she hadn't known it was Illi at the time. |

The mentioning of his childhood friend being kidnapped woke Ekki immediately. 'What the hell happened here?!' he demanded, not waiting for an answer. 'We need to find her!' Rounding on Lachlan, whom Tink had asked if it was Illi *, he quizzed the man ruthlessly. 'Do you know who they were? What did they look like? How many of them? Any outstanding features? Did they say anything?' (ooc); * Okay I'm making an assumption here. So sue me. ^^;; |

Tink stood quickly, wobbling slightly. "Ekki! Ekki, calm down. We're going to find her, okay? Just stay calm." She put a hand gently on his shoulder, looking at him. "I know how you feel, believe me." she admitted. "But if you calm down now, we can arrange something. I'll help you look for her, I promise." |

"Don't worry, Ill search again when the light improves, kill the quiverians and bring your girl back to you" Tanis said sharply head held low sipping at his drink. "And don't plan on tagging olong on my search, I hunt alone" He finished without looking up. |

Okay, Ekki thought, one eye twitching slightly out of anger. Calm... Calm... How the bloody hell can I stay calm when this moron's threatening death and destruction!? 'First,' he ground out to Tanis, fighting to stay in control. 'What right do you have to command that you search alone? As I understand it, you are most likely the worst person to conduct a search, considering your habit of blowing things up wherever you go. To find her, we'd probably need information, not a death toll. In situations like these discretion is more helpful than a bloody thunderstorm or dragons.' Well, at least I'm sounding somewhat rational, he thought wryly. 'We'd probably need as many people as we can get, so it'll mean I'll be "Tagging olong". And Illi isn't "my girl", as you so eloquently put it. I've known her since I was eight, of course I'll want to get her back. But first I suggest we start asking this guy-' he jerked a thumb in Lachlan's direction- 'About what happened.' |

SumoSniper had caused a bit of the wrong type of attention by lighting up earlier. In his wispy flame form, he tried to stop thinking of combustible materials. He instantly went out, becoming a puff of smoke. At a moderate rate, he wisped across the ground toward the bar while people stepped through him to see what the flames were about. He went under the door forming a smoke figure sitting next to Tink, and solidified with a thump. "Lost the trail." He said, forlornly. |

"Listen here Ekki, the only person of the lot of you that i would even stand on a search would be Tink, and i use stand very loosely, and thunderstoms and dragons aren't my only tricks. I will search alone, if your so hung up on searching you can form your own group, though it will be a wasted effort, i'll get your friend out, and you better hope your not in there once i'm finished saving Illi" He said sharply "I'm defeating these guards if you like it or not, saving Illi is just an add on" Tanis took another sip of his drink |

Tink openly gave Tanis a foul look, wishing that it could kill. Turning away from him, she said pointedly to Ekki, "Well, I'll be going with you, Ekki. I had started to think that maybe Tanis was a half decent person...I was way off, wasn't I? We'll make our own search party." She glanced over at Angel. "It's okay. We were just about to gather some information and go looking for her again." She looked at Lachlan. "You heard him. His childhood friend's gone missing." she said in a low voice, then added threateningly, "I strongly suggest telling us anything you know. Strongly. Really, I'm deadly serious." |

Tanis knew when he wasn't welcome and now deffinetly was one of those times. He got up quickly. "Well if you are all so against me finding Illi myself, then maybe I won't save her, though my mind hasn't changed about killing the men. When you find the rubble that was their base, be sure to search she may still be there, alive or not is a different matter" He said glaring evilly. He turned cloak flying and walked out of the bar angrily. He walked around the corner and then threw his body against the wall and then began leaning on it. "Aaargh ungrateful bastards, their lucky I offered to save Illi at all, and Tink... how could she?" He spoke angrily to himself. He ran up and sliced a hole in in a wooden building with his sword "I...I saved her, and I helped her with Lort, and then she just aargh" He looked up eyes blazing "Thats the last time I'll help her, next time Lort can win for all I care" He called his dragon and started to wait for it to appear. "Well, now the only thing stopping me from destroying Quivere completely is gone, but then again she was the only reason I was going to destroy them. Well they attacked me to and thats reason enough, now its only a matter of time, I guess" He spoke to himself as he waited. |

Tink winced as Tanis walked out of the pub, but didn't look back. He could do what he liked. She was going to help Ekki find his friend, if it cost her her life, and if Tanis didn't want to be there, that was his decision. "Well?" she prompted Lachlan. "We're waiting..." |

The fact that Tanis was out of the search party was both a good and a bad thing. On one hand it was bad because that was one less magic person on the hunt. On the other, it was Tanis, 'nuff said. Angel gave the guy who Tink was questioning a peircing look. The only problem was that his eyes had not changed back. His left eye was a small flame in it's socket, and the right was dense smoke. "Ok..." More to himself than to Tink. He shook his head, leaving a small smoke trail. "Bugger." He murmured. |

Tanis' dragon arrived sending a gust of wind down the alley. Tanis quickly jumped on. "Not that I need a head start on those wannabe heroes, but I'd rather get this over with as soon as possible" He said to himself as the dragon took off. As he soared over Quivere he glimpsed back, whether it was the alchohol in his blood of the anger rushing through his head he felt like sending the rest of Quivere to another dimension. "No, better save energy" He said turning and facing the direction he was going. He flew low to the ground as he exited Quivere. "Tracks, well its a start at least" He said flying alongside the tracks that appeared to be from a group of heavy armoured men. |

OOC: I have finally submitted to Ekki's will *mutters* I will continue this half destroyed plot, although with some conditions. 1. No running around all heroic like, especially for mages and known criminals, doubly so if your a known criminal mage *glares at two nobodies in particular. Seriously guys, if your characters are as old as you say they are, they ought to know that blowing things up is likely to land them dead. I will heavily edit or delete these posts without warning, I really don't care if I end up disgraced. 2. Everyone here is equivilant(mages can have a little leeway) to a non magic human who has undergone the same length of training as your characters has. Which means a non magic human could stand a chance against you. There is a little leeway, and if you can prove to me that your character is able to blow up half of Quievere(*dies laughing*), I'll let it slide Think of it like this, how much energy would it consume, if you had actually physically gone and done it? I know I sound like a Nazi, but seriously, no one likes all powerful Mary Sues or Gary Stus. Plots are a whole lot more interesting and last considerably longer if you use more brain and cunning rather than bruteforce. And it's not a terribly good Idea to openly discuss magic, unless you disguise it, I have guards sitting around. It is not a disadvantage to have a character captured, it could make your involvement in this plot a whole lot more interesting. Does anyone know the nobles? It would be a good idea to try and bring them back for this if they're interested ok, BIC: Lachlan phased out slightly as the people, who imediately assumed from the meager information he'd divulged that said person was indeed there friend and a mage. He came back as they started quite brutally questioning him "How do you even know this person is definitely your friend, it could be any random villager. Although," he scratched his chin "You said you recognised her signature, right? Lost it midway?". He gave his pet rabbit a kibble and spoke again "Really, all I saw was a knight, his insignia suggested he was one of the kings heads, knock out some girl and cart her off," he shrugged boredly, contemplating moving somewhere else, the atmosphere was too hectic. OOC: I know I'm really bad for having a plot centered on one of my characters, but I tried the scenario, trying to capture either tink or tanis, but tanis blew up quievere. fuuuuu |
