"You didn't promise me you'd carry me to Kiadenauf." Tink pointed out. "You promised me that you'd make sure nobody caught me." she smiled sadly. "I don't hold people to promises."

"Well then i'm just holding myself to my word then" he smiled at her "Don't worry about holding me to that promise, I will hold myself to it, I promise you that, and you can hold me to that one" he said chuckling at the toung twister

Tink looked at him. "Why?" she asked, her thief instincts suddenly resurfacing. "I haven't done anything for you...I'm just a little thief...You don't owe me anything."

"Because i can Tink" he said softly, not interested in explaining it further. He wanted to put his head down but that was where she was, it was difficult for some reason, he couldn't explain anything right, his mind was a blur.

"Oh..." Tink said. "Um. Okay then."

She looked back up at him. "You're tired." she stated bluntly.

"Don't worry about it, we're nearly there anyway" he said looking down at her.

"It can't be more than 30 minutes" he said softly.

"Are you sure you want to carry me for that long? You really don't have to..." Tink said. The pins and needles in her feet had spread up her legs. As soon as he put her down, she'd fall over anyway.
"What are you going to do when we get there?"

"Um, well I'll find an inn or something" Tanis said "Only after that will I let you go" He smiled. Though he struggled to keep both eyes open.

"Ok." Tink said. "An inn sounds like a good idea."
She tried to be as still as possible, to make it easier for Tanis. "Bolt, Chiros...down."

She hoped that made it easier on the poor guys arms...

Tanis looked down at Tink, he seemed to be walking in straight lines, and there was only one of her, so then he wasn't too tired to make it. He kept walking keeping a steady pace. His left arm was starting to ache something shocking, this was why he needed more equal training rather than just the main arm, the right arm wasn't having any problems at the moment, thought it did seem to have gone numb under Tink's weight.

"Warn me if I'm about to walk into anything okay Tink" he said softly.

"Okay." Tink said, turning her head to watch where they were going. "Look! Kiadenauf's just over there!" she said happily.

Tanis' spirit rose at the sight of the town. Never before had he been so happy to reach a new place. He quickened his pace slightly eager to get into the town asap.

"So did you enjoy the trip, madam" Tanis asked mockingly.

"Very much, sir." Tink replied, grinning. "And your arms are going to be so sore."

A few minutes later, they passed the outskirts of Kiadenauf. "Alright, Tannie, put me down and we'll look for an Inn."

He considered this but eventually decided against it and shook his head.

"We find the inn first then I can put you *yawn* down" He smiled. He noticed an Inn just down the road.

"Oh, fine." Tink rolled her eyes. "Hurry up, any longer and you're going to fall asleep standing up."

As soon as they were standing outside the inn, she said, "Right. We found it, put me down."
