"I bet you're going to be loud when you grow up." Tink muttered to Chiros, as she watched his parents return.
"Oh, by the way, if you see a guy called Bamber, tell him he left his axe at the Drinkin' Place." Tink said, turning back to Tanis. "He's a bandit, he should live around here somewhere, right? Anyway, I'll see you later."
She climbed onto Chiros' father's back again, and he took off. Soon, Tanis was a mere speck.

Tink didn't close her eyes this time, and she sat up straighter, to watch where they were going. It was quite a pretty sight, she had to admit.

Soon, she spotted the markets. Glancing at Chiros, she asked, "Can you tell him to let me off here?"
Chiros did so, making the awful, metal on metal screeching again.
"You need to learn how to sing." Tink told him cheerfully. Chiros smoked out a few !'s.

Bamber, what did he have to do with anything. Tanis waved goodbye, he couldn't help but feel a little hurt that she didn't stay even a minute. He left it at that and walked back over to the rider. Now he realised that it didn't matter, he would never get caught, he had power, he had dragons, that should be enough considering that Tink could keep herself alive spending all of her life in that town.

"So what is your proposition, because I have a headache and your threats mean nothing to me" Tanis said proudly.

"Friends, I don't have friends" Tanis said cooly "And I have no knowledge of a team of a fire mage and a water mage, but I have met this Angel"

"And I'm not a hired hitman if thats what your asking" he said uninterestedly

She shrugged listlessly, turning her horse so it didn't face Tanis. "Have it your way," she said spurring her horse onwards and galloping off, in the general direction of Quievere.

Tanis kept walking, unphased by her threat. He walked until he reached the Fort, hoping that Lort wouldn't see or notice him. He quickly made his way to his room andcollapsed on the bed, trying to fall asleep. When would this day end.
