Black snickered as the thug fell to the floor. 'Oh, it can speak our language all right. Most of the time, HE chooses to do so.' The men gave him a stupefied look, before it turned into shock. The fools finally got it. And look, they've just spotted the magic pulsing around Ekki. Too bad its too late. Sending a wave against the master marks, the black energy whirled in a pentagram around him before an awful squaking sound rent the air. A dead raven, gaunt and red-eyed, smashed into the bar and attacked the brutes, shrieking at an unatural pitch. |

Ebona walked over to where they lay, covering their heads with their hands. He smirked, and turned one over with his booted foot. "See, stupid men should look and not touch. They may get hurt." The men stared up at him, flabbergasted. "You .. You're a guy!" Ebona just smiled, eyes twinkling. "What are we going to do with them, Ekki?" he asked Black. |

'Well, I don't know.' The raven landed on his head, crimson eyes contrasting starkly with the narrow blue. 'We could just feed the to the birds-' at that, the raven gave a chilling caw - 'But I really don't think that's justifiable.' 'If you'll excuse me,' he said, before grabbing the leader by the shirt and pulling with an hidden strength. The man gibbered as Ekki pulled him out of the door, presumedly to some alley somewhere. Black didn't show up until 12 minutes later, grim, satisfied smile in place and a few drops of blood on his cheek and fingerless gloves. |

Ebona smiled. Whatever Ekki had done, the man rightly deserved it. He waved his hands at the other two men. "Shoo." he said, with a smile. Though, of course the men only barely got to the door before they both disapeared. Only those with the keenest of eyes would have seen the two flys which went out the window. |

OOC: time for Illi to wake up, and Zakeb to be horrified. When's this plot going to start? Zakeb was quite horrified to see Ekki come back into the tavern with blood smeared over his hands and a few flecks on his face, a white eyebrow raised, contrasting starkly with his earth coloured skin, "I hope ye didn't kill him," he said smoothly and serious, "Even if they were pissing you off," he sighed leaning back in his chair, it was getting late in the day. Illi struggled awake, the dark violet sky was flecked with white dots as evening rolled in. She pushed herself weakly up against the wall, getting into a sitting position. She gazed around, black seemed incredibly pleased with himself, she noticed some red dotted his face an hands, he better not have been doing what she thought he had. |

Ekki simply smiled an ingratiatingly, inspecting his gloves. 'Doesn't matter either way, no one's gonna miss 'im. But nay, I didn't kill 'im. He's somewhere off with a very pained state.' The smile grew more sadistic. Noticing some movement in the corner, he saw Illi pull herself up. His eyes widening slightly, the only sign of a personality change (as his cloak was still off), he bent down next to his childhood friend. 'Welcome back to the living world, kid,' he said quietly. The memories of his concussion were fresh, and he knew that Illi would be experiencing that sort of pain right now. |

'Welcome back to the living world, kid,' Illi looked up as her friend came into vision, she figured it must be grey, more likely right as black tended not to be quite as smooth when it came to being 'nice'. She rubbed her temples with her index and middle fingers, she did have a considerable headache, but nothing she couldn't really live with. She sighed, "I'm such a snot," she grumbled to herself, who knew when she'd be able to use her magic proper again, she shivered slightly, night was falling, she crinkled her nose in distaste usually the cold didn't bother her. Zakeb shrugged "Either way, I doubt what you did was entirely necessary, or particularily healthy for the person on the recieving end," |

ooc: Mou, when is this plot type thing gonna come in? We need te do something. Get on AIM, Milne. Ekki grabbed his cloak from his pack and offered it to the shivering Illian, noting with slight interest that it changed to an icy-blue colour when he lay it over her. 'Here. You feeling 'k?' It was a stupid question, but damn, he was concerned. Turning to answer Zakeb's question, but keeping his eyes averted from embarassment, he mearly nodded slightly before adding, 'We all have different ways of dealing with them. Black's a little more harsh than others would be, I guess. Sort of like his nature, though.' |

OOC: do you mind if I mess around with the cloak colours a little? Zakeb ish bored so he go away now 'Here. You feeling 'k?' Ekki spoke, draping his cloak around her shoulders. The cloak colours were an unsteady ice blue, the colours moving jaggedly and a more solid, white with a slight tinge of blue, which was moving more smoothly. Proportionally the white was about the same as the blue, really the blue should have been much more steady and a whole lot more of it. She nodded "I'll be fine, really, won't ye be cold?" she said starting to shrug off the cloak and pass it back to him, "My coat should be around somewhere," she gazing around the room for a brief moment, before looking back at Ekki. Zakeb sighed, gettign up he spoke to the barman, putting a decent sized pouch of coins on the bartop. He grinned and lead him off to a room. |

ooc: May be my last post in a while. Until next time, Ja ne! 'What is he doing?' Ekki said exaperatedly, a slightly worried note in his voice. Damn, he befriended people too easily... He handed back the cloak to Illi. 'Nah, it's ok. Mine's thicker than yours anyway.' Leaning back against the wall, he fell into a sleep-like stupor. |
