Excellent Git-Git and Skaven Rich. Looking forward to seeing the progress! Let me know how it went too like if you had any problems or found it quite easy etc.

I think I am falling in love ,this little beauty is getting more attention than the wife (and she`s not happy ,just wait till I paint the rest of the unit like this )
As for painting
1 As I`m a out of the pot painter using water to thin the paint is new to me,BUT I can honestly say, never again will paint go straight from the pot ,the results have been spectacular .No lines and no `blobbing` and the details such as eyes are still clearly eyes! Lesson learnt !
2 Can you show the back of your ratty as well please (unless you have only painted the front of course  )As I missed the top of the leg section by the tail thinking it was cloth oops and had to try and match the colours so please don `t look too closely there .I`m guessing above the tail was fur ,if not mines got a hairsuite problem.
3Dheeneb stone for the bandages just works! Always used bleached bone before.
Over all this stage has been the most fun and enjoyed the challange of free styling fur lines, again not something I usually attempt.
So in conclusion while not to difficult ,it was a challange and I am already a better painter for it BRING ON THE NEXT STAGE

I'm dead chuffed you're liking this SkavenRich, thinning paint really helps doesn't it?

OK, I have had a look for my model to double check the back but I can't find it (I might have given it to the kids to play with but it's not be in any of my completed models drawers) but I'm pretty sure I painted the fleshy area as fur with an abstract hairline like this:

So I would suggest painting that area as fur. There is a suggestion of fur near the tail's base where it sprouts from the body so that hints at the area it's touching as being fur.
There is a touch of fur on the chin too which needs painting black and could you paint the mouth's gap with the flesh colour too as it needs to be completely covered in that little gap. Just one thin stroke will do.

Could you do these touch ups and then upload it again here please? Thanks.

Brilliant work so far BTW.

I'm a little disappointed with the model I chose for this now... No warpstone and no bandages...

Looking good so far Ghaz. One thing I'll pick on is I can see Calthan brown showing through the join between the flesh and the black cloth notably on the arm and ear. Can you paint those areas with thin black paint so the brown isn't showing as that will cause problems later on.
Thanks.
Other than that it's spot on. Nice, neat and smooth painting.

Ha ,I smell a rat Evidence so far ,can`t find the model ,no pics of the back , Question hannanibal have you really painted the back of your model ???????? What next --the dog ate it!!

Right back to the serious stuff .Re painted the fur and I`ve given him a goatie. I`ve also noticed that there is a bit of stippling on the flesh from the primer ,is my paint to thin or will this go as we add layers

That fur looks miles better now Skaven Rich. You still need to paint the gap in the mouth with flesh colour (especially the other side).

Cheers.

All done ,its funny, as its hardly noticable on the model yet it stands out clear as day in the photo. Same as the tiny raised bits on the flesh .Any ideas on the flesh stippling.

The only thing I can think of is the white primer wasn't shaken up enough when it was sprayed but it looks OK to me. I don't think you're going to have any problems with it when it comes to painting the next layers. Nice one mate. I'll mark you down as done.

Great work Git-Git. The only thing I can see is a tiny splash of flesh colour on the brown cloth under the arm on the left picture.
