My voting will have to wait for a bit. There are multiple entries I like but they all have some positives and negatives. Like awesome model, but not so awesome paintjob or awesome paintjob but weird posing etc.
Will have to think hard on this. Definately good entries but it's a hard pick. :)

Most likely my pick will be between numbers 4 and 5, maybe 6 that one is growing on me.

Great work by all entrants! I hope my warlitter-lord looks as good when it's finished.

I just went by my gut feeling, and voted for the one that gave me the most feeling of awe.

(Though considering I went to the doctor yesterday because of stomach pain my gut feeling might not be that good... :P )

I agree with Skrits, they are very hard to pick between.
1 is the best model and among the best paint jobs, but I just cant vote for it when everyone else has a conversion. Voting for 1 would just be a vote for ForgeWorld, even if it is the one I would most want in my army.

Very much stuck between 3 and 6.

On a related note, I don't like the WIP as part of the entry at all. I would much prefer just the finished model, I'm having to fight some biases because of not liking that. It really spoils the entry for 2 that the finished model has to share with the WIP.

The one and only.
I thought I would provide a bit of feedback on all of these.

1) Very nicely painted model. The mould or join line on the monster's tail kind of put me off though. Other than that this is a great piece. The base is a bit plain but it's not a problem. I'm just a bit sad to see this one sitting in between all these conversions/kitbashes/scratchbuilds. It would have done better in a pure painting competition.

2) Because of the picture size it's a bit hard to see what is going on, but it looks cool! I like the design of the litter, and the use of bits is great, but what is going on with the base? It looks like 4 smaller bases are glued together, and nothing more. Did you forget to base this piece? Paintjob looks good though and I like the clanrat-warlord. :D

3) Looks great. I get the feeling I have seen this before though. I would have liked to see a few more angles and the warlord is a bit disappointing, it's just a Stormvermin champion. The piece really fits into your army though, and is painted very nicely. :)

4) Wow, a bell! That's so cute and adorable. :D The one problem I have with this one is that it doesn't really say "Warlord on Mount" to me, he looks more like a crazy Skryre engineer in one of his mad constructions. I love the clanrat guards and the little wheel and the paintjob and the concept though. It's cute!

5) That's very blue! Maybe a bit too blue, I don't know. I like it though. It fits in with the army it's from and the freehand is pretty sexy.

6) Wow. His halberd. That's one impressive looking piece. Out of all 6 this one is the most intimidating looking. There is so much converting and building going on, I really like it. The colours are great too. Base is a bit bland but with a model like that you don't need epic scenery.

One thing that really pleased me about this competition was just how different each of the models turned out to be. Putting aside the Warlord on Brood Horror and the Warlord on Rat Ogre Bonebreaker, which obviously don't look like anything else, we have four completely different and valid concepts of what a Warlord on War-litter can look like. I would like to give a special shout-out to the creator of Entry 6, who was the only contestant to take advantage of the offer to submit a second image or montage showing off the work in progress. Because this person used different materials in the construction and then photographed the model unprimed, it gives us a really good idea of how this model was converted.

The next time anyone is planning to enter a largely-converted model, as I have a feeling many of you will for our November-December competition, Scenic Imperative, you should bear in mind the advantage you'll gain by photographing your work in progress.

I'm struggling between 1 and 4, they are both very well painted but im not sure whether 1 is catching my eye more strongly because of its size.... hmmmm
Having said that though they are all very good entries- I've had mine planned and ready to build for too long now so this is great motivation for me to get something done!

Very VERY Impressive work all. They look great. Some real inspiration there. Love the conversions. I think you should see some of them in the theme of their armies. Great. This is gonna be a difficult one.
