My fav is the one with the large weapon (shock prod from IOB, I am guessing?)

They all look amazing, but that shock prod warlock is absolutely incredible. Nice Work!
I wish Morgan Freeman narrated my life.

There is no such thing, as free warpstone
Epic! Just Epic.
They look like the three main characters on the front cover of a Si-Fi fantasy movie.
The only difference is that these guys actually look cool!

How about a non sci-fi series? First one done 2nd one has its basecoat and now needs its base and highlighting done.
Thanks for all the kind words folks it definately motivates me to keep on converting.

@Yavasa I'll throw out a simple painting guide for em when all 3 are done. It was pretty easy no spectacular blending like hannanibal :)

If you have a problem...if no one else can help...and if you have enough warpstone tokens...maybe you can hire...

Nice clean paint scheme.

You're gonna need a 4th guy, and name him hannanibal. :D

I'm not totally sold on the cheap lock ( the one with the huge island of blood shockprod )

The staff just looks to big and eventhough it was a neat conversion I think he will have to retire for a while. I'm now looking at a new conversion for the warlock engineer team.

I was thinking of using a mechanical arm / claw for his left arm (Ikit claw style). Anyone know of some suitable steampunk arms? Most of the spacemarinestuff is to bulky to look cool I think so does anyone have a cool idea?
You can also suggest parts to robotify a stormvermin arm ofcourse.

Quiet, I'm plotting.

I have a couple of guys with mechanical arms in my army.

This assassin has an arm made from a really, really old Eldar power fist.

Posted Image
Not a mechanical arm, but you can make a good 'feature' arm this way. This guy is a 'packmaster', and has the right arm of a Bretonnian Knight. There are a selection of armoured arms around, mostly from Bretonnia and The Empire. I wouldn't use a Chaos one, though. They are far too big. 'Standard' human size is comparable with Skaven.

This is my Warlock Engineer (before painting). He has a left arm made from a plastic Chaos Space Marine power fist, and a right arm made from a Bretonnian Knight arm. Yes, I have a lot of spare Bretonnian Knight arms.

I also have a unit of Plague Monks who have claw hands built from plasticard.

Is that a fireman rat? :D :D :D

There's just something cute about that model. Like someone dressed up their pet hamster or something.

I've done some tech rats with mechanic arms for my army too:

Fighting claw black skaven (for mordheim, and stormvermin front rank in the future).

Posted Image
Colour balance and photo quality is off, but the claw is visible atleast.
Variations of the fighting claws could be useful aswell, if the ork inspired claw is to clunky compared with what you aim for.

Stormvermin with Storm Banner.

Where are those claws from Sliver? Cause the approach you did on the guy with the Stormbanner is really nice. Also where do you get your tubing from? Do you just greenstuff it?

Mutate: Ordered some Necron arms they should be techy enough I think hahahaha
